It probably sounds stupid, but we didn't want to tackle it because we were upset still. We finally decided to get it done. We cleaned the items up and took them in. It's a decent facility and they were quite busy. I'm not sure if they're always busy or if it's because it's the holidays and people adopt more then. I hope it's that they're always busy. They seem to be a no-kill shelter, which is good. The staff is very friendly and really helpful. They were very happy to receive the items as I'm sure they could use plenty of things and these were for a giant breed and hard to come by. We will also donate other stuff to them soon. We've listed them as our donation for Amazon Smiles, so they earn from most of our purchases as well. I'm glad to be doing our part to help these well-deserving, hard-working folks.
