Absolutely the best service. Since I found this accounting group filing taxes became a pleasant…read moreexperience. They are so knowledgeable and organized and have excellent knowledge of every type of situation. So we just went to our annual tax appointment and it was such a good experience and they did it very fast, on the spot. Simply genius, the best. High fives all around.

I worked at OG Tax and Accounting as a Bookkeeper/Accountant for several months. Unfortunately, my…read moreexperience was heavily affected by the management of the Bookkeeping department. Nataliya Prokosheva, who oversees the department, demonstrated a lack of effective leadership and people-management skills. During my time at the company, I frequently experienced unprofessional behavior, including being spoken to in a disrespectful manner, public criticism, raised voices, personal remarks, and what felt like workplace bullying. Rather than creating a supportive environment where employees could learn and grow, the management approach often felt intimidating and demoralizing. Constructive feedback is important in any workplace, but there is a clear difference between professional guidance and personal attacks. For a company that strives to maintain professional standards, this type of behavior should not be considered acceptable. I believe many employees would be able to perform at a much higher level under stronger, more respectful, and professional management within the Bookkeeping department. That being said, my criticism is directed specifically at Nataliya Prokosheva and her management style within the Bookkeeping department, not at the company as a whole. Although I did not have the opportunity to work directly with the owner of the company, my overall impression of him is positive. Based on the way the company operates and the feedback I heard from both employees and clients, he appears to be a professional and responsible business owner. I also had the opportunity to work with many talented, friendly, and hardworking colleagues who made the workplace enjoyable despite the challenges. OG Tax and Accounting has a strong team and significant potential for continued success. I sincerely hope the company addresses the leadership issues within the Bookkeeping department, as improving management practices would create a much healthier, more productive, and more respectful work environment for everyone.

I'm so happy Moshe answered my message here on Yelp! My wife and I recently moved to NJ from…read moreChicago and things got out of hand and we put off doing our taxes way too far. When attempting to do it ourselves, it said we would owe tens of thousands of dollars. Moshe took us on literally in the last minute and did it for us and easing our tax payments by making sure everything is done correctly and educating us on our finances and expenses. Thank you, Moshe for working with us and doing it so quickly.

I was a client for Moshe Wolcowtiz for the past three (3) years and was surprised by his lack of…read moreurgency and/or initiative by directly addressing our audit that originated from his suggestion for an amended return with the state tax department. Moshe having his colleague (regardless of her aptitudes) to serve as an intermediary between the State, myself and Moshe himself is counterproductive. In fact, the former could easily lend itself (albeit unintentional) to unnecessary back and forth at my detriment (time lost, misinterpretation, billing for frequency of services, etc). And for the record, I have no problem paying for one's services as I respect everyone's trade but you'd think in light of an audit that should be easily addressed by my accountant, he would take the initiative to do so instead of referring me to another staff member. For example, Moshe took my calls but after I would be the one to keep following-up until he picked-up and that time, he would lead me to believe on multiple occasions that WE together would speak with the state tax department and/revisit my paperwork together to ensure we have an action plan that would counter the state's disposition but instead I'm met with, call this number or his colleague will call me back. Last Friday-January 3, 2020 took the cake after again I had to call Moshe after repeated attempts. I even tried to be understanding of it despite my reservations and he reassured me that we would speak that Monday, January 6 given my audit was due. When I called on Monday repeated times even after leaving a voice message, I was finally met with, call his colleague and "I'm sorry Marc, I can't right now and have to go!" Try being on the other end of that receiving message but I am also a social advocate for the voiceless, so I did not step out of my positive character. True quality customer, patient or client service would have warranted a call from Moshe and not pass the buck given the implications of an audit that was now growing unfairly at my detriment. Basically, he had more pressing matters to attend to and it was obvious. After I share the nature of my discussion with Moshe's colleague, he sends me an invoice, stating for all the back and forth. At this point I felt it was best to sever ties in which he has agreed for the best interest of all parties. Meanwhile, I'm left to find a new CPA and address an audit that was due to his facilitation, so thanks Moshe for your service and hence my rating. Respectfully Submitted, Marc
