The shop was clean and inviting, and overall the experience was as comfortable as it could be! Both were incredibly impulsive decisions and I was able to be squeezed in without any real wait time. The piercing guy has a lot of piercings and tattoos himself and is funny enough to take away any pre-piercing niggles you have. (But just take a deep breath, you'll be fine!) He also recommended some tips on caring for my piercing during the healing process (You're going to get really familiar with rock salt, hot water and cotton buds..) and told me not to hesitate to pop in if I had any problems. I've been tattooed twice by Nadia, am booking in for my third piece and highly recommend her. No question is too stupid, no piece too geeky! I've been to other studios but have never felt more comfortable getting needles stuck in me has I have here. EI is a small studio with just one piercer and one tattoo artist but what they lack in size they more than make up for in style. Rachel that works there is really cool and has some amazing piercings herself PLUS if you're a cat fan then talk to her as she loves cats too! Had a great conversation with her about all the FIV cats she takes in/looks after, so lovely. Not sure if they still do their out of hours service but it used to be with Debbie who is also super lovely and she has had some crazy shiz done such as temple implants and tongue-splitting (ouch!). The out of hours used to suit me fine because I used to go there just after my work and get Debbie to do all my piercings. It's basically a turn up and wait system so you just come in, take a seat and if you see anyone they'll ask you what you're in for and also help you with prices/jewellery. I never waited longer than 20mins. I think they're open Tues- Sat, 11 - 5pm Great ladies, great clean studio and great service. Definitely recommend this place for all your piercing and jewellery needs. Prices are decent and they have a great choice of jewellery too. A lot of people tend to get to Nirvana when in this area but GPS is just around the corner and should not be forgotten about. P.s. Just found out that Fiona who used to work for Forevemore is piercing here too also. She's also lovely so woo!
