I was very happy with the atmosphere of a club room-designed shop. Micheal's service and attention to detail were of the highest caliber. The whole point of ordering custom clothes is to feel that this is an important process of "old-school" heritage, with the twist of new technology, in both the ordering process and the fabrics to choose from. I was very happy with my order and also liked the fact that we created a design with the suggestions that helped mold details into my jacket into the final design. It's refreshing to know that there is a place that you can trust and believe put a lot of passion into the efforts of customer service to such a high level. WHY 5+: pre, during, post auction - phone and email communication was quickly responsive, detailed, and courteous in response to questions. They also asked permission to place certain niche items (vintage jewelry) into another upcoming auction they determined would be a better fit, which I appreciated. The detailed photos they took and research done to document maker/year/materials for items were high quality and beyond expectation. Importantly also, their auction content was honest for buyers, showing any cracks or damage if items had such. The website was slick, easy to navigate, w/audible "dings" during the auction when something was bid on, along w/showing the bid offers. As a seller, there were no hidden or peripheral fees, Coastal Downsizing took a fair and straightforward % of the sales. It goes without saying that things we took for granted before such as toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer, Lysol/Clorox sprays and wipes have now become the hardest things to find anymore, amirite?! Well, this wonderful group introduced me to MANCON and boy have they been life savers!!!!! First of all, they kindly list their itemized shipment for the next business day of everything they're getting so that the public can come and purchase. One time they received over 4,300 Lysol spray cans and allowed a 12 can limit PER PERSON! Go ahead, read that again. It's not a lie! You are advised to arrive early and stand in line but they only allow 5 people in a time and absolutely no one under the age of 18 is allowed inside. Plus, facial masks are mandatory so don't forget that either! No cash is accepted and only one visit per person per day. The day I went, I scored 2 3-pack Clorox wipes, 2 Microban spray cans, and 1 50-count box of surgical face masks. My mom came with me and she purchased the same amount as well minus the masks. We waited less than 30 mins beginning at 11:05 am but I've heard it can be longer! My pro tip: go on a rainy day! They have all your cleaning essentials in there but everyday the stock/inventory is different. Everyone is so nice, efficient, and helpful. Once you enter there's empty boxes already assembled for you to place your purchases inside. If you need PT or TP, you just tell the cashier at the end that that's what you want and someone will come take it to your car for you. They also have batteries, both kinds of masks, hand soaps, cleaning chemicals, etc. Yes, they're open to the public. Did I mention that already?

Her birthday coming up, so that meant, new kicks, please! We visited this location during the week before 8pm and it's usually super quiet. No pressure in browsing or people in your way... just a beautiful feeling. My daughter found three pair of shoes she liked and they all were available in her size. But when it came to the fourth shoe, her size was not available. The sales associate offered to check other locations to see if her size was available without hesitation... loved it! We spent about 20 minutes in the store and my daughter was pleased with her new shoes. The sales associate was super helpful and attentive. She also was hands on when it came to checking to see if the shoe fit my daughter or if another size was needed. No complaints... Another associated checked us out and asked if everything was ok. A great visit during the week. I'd suggest you visit during the week as well. The weekend can be super hectic throughout anytime of the day. The store is located in the almost empty Chesapeake Square Mall, but they seem to be holding down the fort at the end near Target. So yeah, park near Target instead of the front of the mall. This will be a short walk for you if you park here. Shoes can be a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for and they have a pretty good return policy. Once she's complete, you'll walk out with a certified letter of appraisal that you can use for insurance purposes or simply support an asking price should you be in the market to sell it.
