During my time there, Gail made comments about my weight, including calling me fat and telling me to "fix my diet." She also made comments about my glasses and told me that I couldn't be an esthetician because I wore them. Made comments on my mental health and as well She told me she would always be smarter than me, told me she never liked me, and said that she had only given me a chance because her daughter liked me and that she eventually realized it was a mistake. I was also told that I could probably find somewhere else to work. What was especially upsetting was having my depression commented on in the workplace as well. Saying that I had depression because I had gut problems . Gail doesn't know anything what I've been through. These were not comments I expected to hear from someone who was supposed to be in a position to mentor and help a newly graduated esthetician grow. I came into this job excited, motivated, and ready to learn. I was a new graduate looking for an opportunity to build my skills and begin the career I had worked hard for. Instead, I left feeling belittled and discouraged. I realize this review is several years after my experience, and I can't speak to what the workplace is like today. I can only speak honestly about what I experienced in 2022. I see the positive reviews from clients, and I'm glad people have had good experiences receiving services there. My experience as an employee, however, was not positive, and I feel it is important to share that perspective as well.Because they are promoting they want to help better clients skin but can't respect someone trying to also get educated and grow to also help everyone as well as she made her employees try and become vegan .

The receptionist took me to a room around 3:35pm and at that point I was sure that Janet will come soon after, knowing that no clients were there. I sat in that room and waited and could clearly hear Janet chatting with the lady who just came in across the hallway (seemed like the lady stopped by just to chat) They were loud and talking about personal stuff. Few minutes later, around 3:40pm, I opened the door and went to the front asking if Janet knew I was there and the receptionist seemed embarrassed and said "yes, I will go back and talk to her". I went back to the room again and at this point, their conversation continued angain about personal matters and Janet had no respect for a client waiting for an hour. Extremely disappointing. 5 minutes pass by and I left the room and passed them still chatting in the hallway with no consideration. I told the receptionist I was leaving and she looked so embarrassed because she could see and hear what was happening. I thought maybe they will realize what they did and call to apologize. NOPE, I guess there is no consideration or customer care. Never going there again, and will no recommend to people. You could the best at your business, but with a treatment like this?! We call three times, no answer and we knock and nothing. Mind you, we could literally hear them talking behind the door. We even wait 5 minutes, and nothing. At that point I don't feel comfortable receiving services from them and we leave. I kid you not, 10 minutes later we get a text message saying they're ready for us. at that point I call them and explain what just happened. The receptionist plays dumb like she didn't know why the door was locked. I wish them a good day and hang up. Anyways, we requested a refund from Groupon. Stay away. The whole thing gave scam vibes.
