I was concerned about it because it had been quite a while since I had it cleaned and I have a dog that sheds 365 days a year. He is pretty hard on my rug between dirt, hair, dog treats, and everything else dogs do on your rugs. They brought the rug back today and wow, does it look gorgeous! It actually looks brand new and I have had it for four years. I am really happy with it. Before they took the rug back to the carpet building, they cleaned my bedroom carpets and they cleaned my couch and a futon that my dog lays on Constantl. They did a great job on that too. I am extremely pleased with their work. I will definitely have them back in the future.

They took the rugs to be cleaned off site, and then we picked them up. The garage facility where they clean rugs, is not clean. It smells like cat urine. We picked up the rugs, and I was concerned with the smell and mentioned it. The woman manager just laughed and said she couldn't smell anything. There was still white dog hair on the rug edges that you could see (we have a white dog). I ask did you vacuum these before cleaning, she said yes. We put them in our SUV. Ran other errands with the rugs in the car. When we got back in the SUV it smelled SO bad that we had to roll down the windows on the way home. We could not bring the rugs in the house. I let the office manager know this. She said did you ask to have them deodorized? No. I except them to smell clean. When you clean something it shouldn't smell like cats. Her response was they don't allow animals in their garage, and they've never allowed that. The house was built in 1962 as residential, and has had multiple owners. If she can't smell, then she has no idea what the garage smells like. Please do not let them take your rugs until you see the facility that they will be cleaned in. They are now at another business getting cleaned properly. I would not recommend ACE for cleaning area rugs.

I have purchased a lot from this company. The last two times I've had to deal with Duke and I must say he sure doesn't act like he gives a darn. This time he was really rude. When I went to look at the carpet he starts pulling big sample boards down with one hand because he had something in his other hand and couldn't be bothered or interested enough to put it down. He didn't even try to help with which carpet would be the best for my needs. I should have walked out. But, dummy me went ahead and picked one. I told him that a couple of the rooms of carpet I bought from him 6 years ago had matted terribly so I hoped he would take that into consideration for pricing since I would be replacing one of those rooms plus the living room and dining room that they put down before. When he came to measure he looked at the matted carpet and said NOTHING. He could care less. When my carpet came in and the guys showed up to put it down, they asked if I was told this job would take 1.5 days and I said no, but that's OK. But they never left til after 6pm. They were tired having been here since early morning. I asked why they stayed and finished and I was told well, they have to be somewhere else the next day. So, the next day I'm looking over everything and sweeping and discover that the metal strip that goes across the bathroom doorway to cover where the carpet meets the vinyl tile wasn't put back, it was laying under the vanity. Understandable that it got missed, it was a long day. But I also noticed that the edge of 2 of the tiles had been chipped. I just paid a large sum of money to have that whole bathroom remodeled in the last year. I wasn't going to raise a big ruckus about it because the strip would cover it and probably be ok. I was probably being nicer about it than I should have been. But, the strip needs to be put back to protect the edge of those tiles. I sure don't want them chipping worse. I went to see Duke that day. I told him what I needed & he just stands there with a look like "Why are you bothering me." He said he'd get ahold of them to come and take care of it. Well, 8 days later I had to go back to the store since you can't get anybody to answer the phone. This time Mike was there. What a difference! Nice, welcoming smile and asks what he can help me with. I tell him what's going on and he said he'd get Duke. Mike comes back around the corner and says Duke will send them over to take care of it. Duke had been within ear shot of my conversation with Mike. He didn't have the courtesy to even come out and speak to me. No apology, nothing. Well, that was Wednesday morning and this is Friday evening. Haven't seen or heard from anybody. So, what do you think? My years of loyalty and spending my money with K Carpet are over. I guess I'll be going somewhere else to get the other 2 bedrooms, kitchen & master bath done.

Easy to operate the machines that use the PayRange system. Install the Payrange app, add a credit to your account and from there, activate the machine you wish. It all worked just fine. And now I have a $3 credit to use at some future point, I assume. All of the machines I used worked fine and the folding table was clean. Plenty of parking. Restroom in the back was also clean. It was important that the floors were done before we moved into our home. The owner came to our home and discussed their procedure and took measurements. I then received a call telling me they could not perform the service before our move date and so we agreed to just move our furniture out of the room. He gave me a prospective date and I reminded him that I still did not have an estimate. That was the last I heard from him. My phone calls went unanswered. I am now dealing with finding another company, which I would have done originally if I had known Akrosteam was going to ghost on me. They had zero respect for my timeline and have made it much more difficult to have my floors cleaned now that we live in the home. Thanks for nothing, Akrosteam!
