Jayde the events director knew what she was doing, and was there for me anytime I had questions or concerns.

Overall, the fitting was good old fashioned fun. Regarding some of the comments here, there are always two sides to a story. A lot of the criticism seems to come from bitter keyboard warriors who don't fully know what they're talking about. Thanks ParWest team!!!

Had the perception, I should support a small business owner. So despite the negative reviews I went…read moreto ParWest Golf FIRST (w/$1500. to spend). There were three employees in the building on a Saturday ( 3 persons when we walked in, then down to one other, then no one but us). We knew this because we became the only patrons in the shop. We spoke loud enough for them to her us, we asked to hit a few balls, we asked questions about what was available - we gave them so many opportunities to ignite and build a sale but instead, we walked in and found the front counter employee on their phone, then they were fixed on some game on tv. Even after we tried a club out they didn't even try to engage us. We left and went to Galaxy Golf with the perception of it being corporate. HUGELY mistaken. Lance gave us some time on the floor. Gently approached. Answered our questions and then got us on the range to test out our potential clubs. Lance gave me some education tips. Gave me space to think and I bought the full set and met the trainer for lessons. lance also recommended Stone Creek in Oregon City, OR to practice and take my dad. Literal high five to Golf Galaxy. You have my money and my loyalty. Really sorry ParWest Golf. We hoped it would work out.

This sweet family built a fantastic wee-mini golf course around and between two pine trees in their side yard, and opened it up to the neighborhood and the public to putt around. It's a more successful version of Maria Bamford's Lady Dynamite park bench, inviting friends and neighbors to chat and play together in a fun and friendly environment. There are six holes and several custom-made statues and features that the owners worked with local artists to create. A locker near the gate holds the putters and balls, which you can access by calling an automated message machine. If you happen to be in the neighborhood and find yourself with a few minutes to spare, drop on by this itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny-mini-putt-putt-golfing dreamy, and see if it doesn't give you a new definition of good neighbor, too.

But we had fun here, and did the course several times, challenging each other. Don't try to get the golf ball through the windmill, because it gets stuck. In the pictures, though, they don't show it's direct location. If you're curious, it's on the side of someone's house, so in the website they really mean you "have to be quiet". Otherwise, I'm not sure if I'd call it a country club, and more a mini golf course.

We had to walk as no carts let out after 5pm. Anyway the staff guy in the pro shop was fantastic, kind, helped me choose a golf glove, and told us we'd probably have the course to ourselves (no one came up behind us, which i like). The pro shop is nicely stocked and i thought prices were reasonable. Stunning view of Mt. Hood on the first fairway and elsewhere. Tee boxes well marked and usually had a picture of the hole layout; there are some nasty doglegs. Course is fairly forgiving for the newcomer. Not much in the way of heavy brush to lose your ball in, at least in the first nine holes. Greens in great shape, but there were some muddy areas on the approach to some greens. It appears you can get discounts booking your tee-time online. There is a driving range here - we came out another day and got two large buckets of balls (buy tokens in the proshop, a dispensing machine is in the driving range) - looked like 60+ balls for $9. The range nets are in tatters in the most heavily targeted ranges, so you might have to yell 'FORE' a few times as your misdirected ball sails onto adjacent fairways. I like this course, will play again.

I don't recommend this venue, it's a money grab and the facility is not that nice anyway. I've had their food before at a golf outing and it was horrible too.
