When my tele-conference with my doctor took place on June 10, I was advised that his office never received it. The staff working for my doctor said they have called several times for it. The latest was on the morning of the call, June 10, but no results. Very sloppy work for a hospital that "cares" about its patients and its community. Had 6 stents of projectile vomiting. Serious enough that we will have to paint the bathroom. Occurred again at 4:30. Husband took me to ER and Dr asked if I was nauseated, diarrhea, muscle pain. No to all. He said well you vomited a couple of times and we have had several coming in with that. I wouldn't have come if I had only vomited twice. It hurt my entire rib cage and then became very weak. He basically made me feel I was wasting his time. If it had not been for change of shifts and a second dr saw me, I would never go there again. I was given two bags of fluid and it took me several days to get back my energy and able to cough without holding my ribs. Had a similar situation several years ago and went to Hedrick and they gave me a medication for nausea and I unknowlingly was allergic to it. So they gave me a different drug and apparently allergic to it too. Caused me to have hallucinations and bouncing on the walls. My husband put me in car and took me to K.C. hospital where I remained for two days. Two trips and two bad experiences.

We all know medical prices are unjustified inflated and the Government cant fix it, but what gets…read moreme, is this hospital expects you to have the 100s in copay laying around to give them. If not paid in 30 days or less they turn it over to a collection agency even if you're paying them monthly. Then the agency starts the phone harassment process. They call daily. The hospital is fully aware of their tactics but use them. The collection agency was informed that the hospital was being paid monthly and there are no other funds, they said they did not care will call daily until the hospital tells them to stop. This is criminal phone harassment by state statue. We like the staff and the closeness of the hospital, but they are pushing us away. They advertise they care about us but cause unnecessary stress daily on our mental health. Does it take a lawsuit to get justice. We are on social security and no savings so what do they want us to do. So if you dont have cash to pay your copay within 30 days expect harassment daily

In addition the doctor was incredible on every aspect very helpful and informative on what I had going on. Felt very comfortable talking to him about my situation. She's caring, understanding, and so very helpful. I really felt comfortable and was able to relax about my issues a little bit. I will always recommend her to everyone. I was traveling home to Arkansas when I had an issue and had to stop for medical attention and Dr. Manning was so helpful and attentive. My nurse, Mindy was absolutely amazing as well. She made me feel welcome and like I wasn't a burden to them. I wish we had more nurse like Mindy and more doctors like Dr. Manning. I wish I could see them every time I needed medical attention. If you're ever going here I seriously recommend trying to see them because they both are so great!

This has happened to me before as well but I didn't argue or anything and I'm a white female so apparently it wasn't a race thing for the other person...The main thing I don't like is how the Drs I have just seem to up and leave sending me a letter umm sorry I am moving to wherever and you will need to find another cardiologist!
