I visited the Arts Project when my friends company was celebrating their anniversary. They had a…read moreprojector set up with a slideshow and a movie. It was catered and had alcohol as well. This is a perfect space for a smaller event with urban flare. As I add happenings around London to the Yelp Events page, I always find a TON of stuff happening at the Arts Project. From plays, exhibits, painting, to event hosting, this place is a multifaceted space with great work on the walls. I took some time to take in the art while we celebrated at the event and each piece was very lovely. I don't know too much about art galleries or art itself but I really enjoyed my time here. It felt relaxed, yet exclusive. Next time you need a spot to host an event, check out the Arts Project, you will be glad you did!

This place was founded by Mike Lazaridis, RIM's co-CEO. Steven Hawking has visited and sat on the board of directors for a few years among other notable physicists, but if you haven't already heard of this place you probably won't recognize their names. But what can Perimeter Institute mean to those of us that aren't apart of the theoretical physics elite? Surprisingly, a lot. It has a beautiful restaurant upstairs called The Blackhole Bistro that houses lavish private events, along with a number of dinner shows including music, performances, and wine appreciate nights. The food is fresh, local and the menu is different for every event. It's also delicious. The building itself, apart from being architecturally beautiful, has a big concert hall that offers concerts in classical music and jazz by big names like Yo Yo Ma, as well as lectures on art and science.
