I was still a little nervous about the unknown because while 99% of the online reviews were super positive people don't generally take the time to write about their eye doctors and every rating site only had a handful of reviews. Obviously, the positive reviews were spot on. Starting with the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted by super friendly staff. The tech who ran me through the battery of pre-tests on the eye machines (glaucoma, refraction, retina scan, etc.) was not only friendly but explained exactly what she was doing every time and what I should expect (flashes of light, blasts of air). I did have to wait a little long to see Dr. Kessler and, as I suspected, the "other doctor" was unable to come in as planned. It seems like that kind of stuff happens all the time in this crazy COVID world nowadays so I wasn't put off by it at all. Stuff happens. The wait was well worth the service I received. Dr. Kessler's approach to an eye examination was unique and gave me confidence in her technical abilities and desire to make sure my eye refraction prescription was spot on. They don't sell glasses so there is absolutely no incentive for her or anyone else in the practice to adjust you unnecessarily. As a 50+ year old, I have been opting in for retinal scans. Dr. Kessler was the first doctor who showed me the scans and pointed out and explained everything on it. All others simply said something along the lines, "I looked at your scans and they look fine." Nice to know, but I like to be educated and I think an educated consumer is a much better consumer. Obviously Dr. Kessler does as well. On top of all that, she was, by far, the most personable optometrist I have ever used. She was plain speaking, dynamic, friendly, and somehow actually made the exam, dare I say...FUN! I'm not saying you should dump your current eye doctor. If you are happy with your doctor, by all means keep your doctor. However, if there is any part of the practice you currently use that you do not like or are uncomfortable with, do not hesitate to give MEA and Dr. Kessler a chance to earn your business. They've certainly earned mine as well as the rest of my family's.

An employee was helping us and then another walk-in came in behind us. The woman abruptly stopped helping us and started helping him find eyeglasses. Very odd and off-putting. Asked for help from another employee who said she would help when she was done with another customer. Went through with my mom's eye exam because I had limited time and needed to get to another appointment. The doctor was beyond amazing. Extremely attentive, explained everything and made up for the off-putting service by the initial attendant. When we came back out to the lobby, the second woman I asked for help was ready and extremely helpful. She found my mom new frames. It would have been five stars, if not for the initial person who "helped" us. It's very important to be specific about who represents your company. If I had more time, I would have left and not had the opportunity to have my mom's eyes seen by a good doctor.

The next morning I was seen by Dr Williams and he did the necessary laser treatment. The staff were all so kind and professional even though they were probably late getting home that first afternoon. Dr Williams even found another retina specialist for me to follow up with at our next stop. I'm so thankful for their excellent care during what was a scary event.

Dr. Suchman did a very comprehensive exam and set me up with my new glasses & contacts prescription. I have recommended Dr. Suchman to my friends, family and co-workers. For me it was a relief to see a doctor who is not only competent and professional but who also is nice! I went to the office on Poplar & Ridgeway but I believe she is at a different location of Eyes for You on different days. The office staff at the Poplar location were very nice & professional on the phone and in person. I won this visit on an auction to help a child who is being treated for brain cancer. We were in a hurry and this place was the fastest exam I could find for her. I went in completely blind and honestly thought I was going to another place. The staff was nice, the Doctor seemed to know what he was doing. We got her exam all done and then on to the designer frame hustle. Ended up being $305 for a pair of glasses and the exam. Billed insurance a good bit more. It is what it is I guess. I was in a hurry. She likes the glasses. I am just too used to Costco I guess. I could have gotten two Gucci frames for that amount. But one day I saw an informative video about special lenses for people like me on the Collierville Vision Center social media page. I had no idea lenses for headaches existed! Dr. Walley was so kind and helpful and let me try several trial lenses to find which ones worked best for me. After I decided on which lenses I liked most, I got to pick whatever frames I wanted, and here I am now wearing the most incredible pair of glasses I've ever had. These lenses have been life-changing for me. Unlike regular sunglasses, I can wear these inside and at night without things being too dark. In fact, I forget I'm wearing them! Best of all, I am living a migraine-free life. If you suffer from bad headaches and migraines, I urge you to seek help from this doctor because it will change your life. I would like to make you aware of the mark up cost that they add to all their products like contacts , eyeglasses, etc. I have received same contacts from the different optometry office priced at $220, after insurance benefit I had to pay only $100 for 6 months supply. PEC has charged me $313.99 last week, after insurance benefit it was $193.99 almost double . They added $9.99 shipping charge , completely disregarding my request to pick up contacts in their office . They didn't want me to come back and question contacts price I guess . Now I am going out of town to see my MIL for the Mother's Day and my very pricey contacts will be out in hot weather entire weekend . Terrible experience with overpriced contacts , poor customer service and now worrying about receiving possible defective contacts because I am not sure can my neighbor pick them up from the hot mailbox.
