I drove 130 miles to look at a car & told the salesman if a part ex could be agreed, I would drive the new car home the same day. On arrival I noticed that the front tyres had apparently been replaced that morning (soapy water still on the tyres ). The new tyres were a budget type costing £40. As the car had only done 4000 miles I queried it & was told that the original ones had probably worn out or had punctures. First they denied replacing them, then admitted it. The inside had several sweet wrappers, & a bad stain on the rear seat. I walked away. What a waste of a day, let alone all the fuel I used,260 miles round trip. read more
