Last but not the least I feel like I should mention the cost of all the splendour, it's not for the faint of heart, per person, how's about $85.00!! It's just probably the absolute best $85.00 a person will spend in their lifetime of hunting a buffet of this magnitude!! They take care of you and make sure you have a good time! It wasn't over crowded at all. We paid for 4 hours, but only stayed about 2 hours and got about 8 runs in. The staff bros take their time to explain the process, hand you a tube and you're on your way! Get your tube, take it to the lift thing. You sit in the tube and the guy hooks it up to send you on your way to the top. Many little kids and many adults. Fun for all ages!! There were two runs for the tubes, and both were fun! Totally make sure you have gloves, a hat and don't forget chapstick!!!

In 2024 the main building they used fir operations burned down in a fire. Now the operation is run out of a portable construction trailer with a few food trucks and porto potties strewn about. The benefit to riding a mountain like this is the low cost. If you purchase tickets in advance online you can find lifts as low as $19 that includes some snacks with an f&b credit. The base elevation is low compared to an LCC resort. Slightly over 6000 ft, at base. So snow doesn't stick around long after spring. I have been here when it's snowing on the top and raining at the base. It's a fun little place to snowboard. The have a new high speed 6 pack chair on the other part of the mountain away from base operations. That is the better section of mountain with more consistent snow. Enjoy!

That lift is big and it's not too steep to get off the lift at the top. I don't like the Apollo lift being so steep at the top. It's scary getting off... the other two lifts there are for beginners I think. This mountain is a lower elevation than Snowbasin and Powder Mountain so the snow here isn't quite as good. I do like that kids 12 and under can get a free pass here. And it's a lot cheaper than the other mountains nearby. So really as long as it's not raining this mountain is a better value. One more thing, I know their lodge burned down in a fire a while back, but that's a big thing for me personally. I love having a nice warm lodge to take a break in, since my husband can ride all day, but I get tired riding all day! Hopefully they can build a nice big lodge with fireplaces and a cafe. :) The employees here were friendly and helpful. Rentals are not too expensive and they have deals on them sometimes. Also they give military and local discounts!

Nothing fancy but has most amenities any business traveler would need including ample free parking and walking proximity to the many restaurants on 24th street. My only gripe is NOT having a full size ironing board...having only a table top one which is super difficult to actually iron a shirt! Forgivable but annoying for me! Otherwise I'd stay here again while in Ogden!

I guess it was a good experience to check out the Tru hotel but I don't think I would stay there again.

After visiting other cities that endorse local businesses through tourism they decided that 25th Street was missing this amazing opportunity. Nicole, founder of the Good Eats Tour, rallied all the participants on Grant and 25th Street around 1:30pm on Saturday. We were introduced to each other and briefed on our tour. My partners-in-crime for this gluttonous day included my husband, Jason, and my Grandma, Sandra. I love food (my backside can attest to this ) but I also love meeting new people, learning new things and spending time with my favorite peeps so I knew this tour would be perfect. Nicole explained the inspiration for the Good Eats Tour name. Her Grandma Sloan owned the Good Eats Café in Ogden where she met her Grandfather. The story has been retold over generations and while she doesn't have proof of this, she chooses to believe it's true. Being a sucker for an amazing love story, I believe it too. When you experience the Good Eats Tour make sure to bring water! It gets very hot in the summer months and you'll be happy to have it. The Good Eats Food Tours isn't just about discovering new restaurants and food, it's about rediscovering Ogden's history and its future. Nicole peppered us with fun, interesting facts about Ogden's sordid past of bootleg, prostitution, and the Electric Alley. She also reminded us of Ogden's willingness to help those in need like when the poor and destitute arrived through Union Station, we welcomed them and came together as a community. Finally, the Good Eats Food Tours, wouldn't be nearly as fun without Nicole and her commitment to ensuring we had the best experience possible. Also, we got lucky and made a few new friends along the way. Faye and Ron have been married over 23 years and after I blurted out, "and you still like each other?" they just giggled.
