I had to have a washer taken from the ground floor to the basement where the dryer was in a home I just bought after moving here from CA. Had several bids on the job that went all the way up to 2800.00. Perry had a gentleman come and bid the job and the bid to move the washer physically to the basement and change the plumbing for the washer to be in the basement was 350.00. Scheduled the job with the lady in the office and the 2 plumbers were right on time. They called first as I had let them know I have a German Shepherd that is not happy with unknown people. The job was done quickly for the amount they quoted, plus they saw to it that a large pipe that was sticking out in my basement was shortened to allow better passage in the basement. Needed a quote on installing an "irrigation meter" for the City of Williamston to cut down on costs associated with watering our lawn. The City recommended Perry Plumbing. I called and was told the person that would handle that was out of the office but would call me. No Call. I called again and received their voicemail so I left a message requesting a call back. No Call. I thought that I would give them on last chance...received their voicemail again and left a message advising of my past efforts. No Call. I would not waste my time calling them if they can't even have the courtesy of returning multiple phone calls. read more

We had a leak from our kitchen sink which was pouring water into our finished basement on a Sunday night. Turned the water off, cleaned up the mess and, Monday morning, called Perry Plumbing. Left a message and didn't get a speedy response so called again. Talked to the woman in the office and had a plumber out within an hour. Very reasonably priced. Unbeknownst to us, there was another leak which started dripping Monday evening. Called them back Tuesday morning and, after a bit of searching, Dale found the source of the leak and fixed it in a jiffy. Only charged us gas money for the return trip! These guys have been doing our plumbing jobs for years and have always treated us well. They are a small operation and do get busy at times but their effort, results, and cost impress us every time. No communication between office person and person out in the field. Asked them to come late in the day to remove a sink, she said ok, 4-4:30ish. I get a phone call about 1:30 at my work from the service guy saying he would be at the house in 20 minutes. I was surprised and told him I could not be there, my work is 40 minutes from home. All they needed to do was take out a kitchen sink so that new counter tops could be installed, then come put sink back in afterwards. Normally my husband could have done it but he had just had surgery and was unable. They took out the sink ok, but when they hooked it back up, the faucet was reversed, lever handle, so what had been hot was cold, and cold was now hot. I went to do dishes and had no hot water, never even occurred to me to put handle on what had been cold water for the last 5 years, so I was confused and called them and left a message, no return message. Finally called them later next day and they came out, the workers were rude, told us that they had faucet set to factory settings, whoever installed it before had screwed it up, they offered to switch it back, but honestly they were so rude I just wanted them out of my house. Also, both times they came to the front door after we asked the office to tell them to enter through the garage directly into the kitchen, and when they came in the front door in dirty boots, they made no effort to wipe them or even offer to remove them....then they walked across the carpet. Sorry to see Sarah N.'s review. My experience was totally different. Very professional. I called for an estimate and they were there within a couple of days. They came 4 days later and did several things for me. I just got the bill today and was pleasantly surprised that the amount invoiced was even less than the estimate. Now when does that ever happen? The guys who did the work were very knowledgeable and friendly. I'm very happy with their work and wouldn't hesitate to call them again. read more

I'm hoping I caught them on a bad week because all I received was VERY poor service (and I didn't even have work done). It started with a voice message asking for a quote that went unanswered for a week. I decided to call them back and spoke with a receptionist who scheduled an appointment for the following week. She quoted a time window and stated the plumber would likely be there closer to the beginning of the window. I had asked if the plumber could call me on his way as I worked nights and wanted to make sure that I was awake in time for their arrival. She assured me this would happen. Well the quoted time window came and went. I called the office a half hour after the quoted time and left a message stating no one had been to my house yet or called to state that they were running late. I believe someone showed up an hour and a half AFTER the quoted time window without calling...although I can't say for sure since I had gone back to bed at that point and didn't answer the door. I have yet to receive a call back regarding my message about the plumber not showing up on time. Needless to say I will not be trying to schedule another appointment with Perry Plumbing! read more
