This place is fantastic. I got an Italian sub from here(which I forgot to take a picture of) and it was delicious. Bread was not dry and the cuts of meat and cheese were so fresh

1/2 a tuna sandwich on a ciabatta roll, with fresh lettuce.

We were so hungry after leaving the VNA Sale, we went by Yelp reviews to find this place. Ciabatta rolls were the only rolls left, so we ordered a tuna sandwich, and shared it. SO good and fresh. Not your typical tuna salad, almost tasted like chicken salad. Lettuce was so fresh, as was the roll. We were so full, we didn't have the chicken sandwich. We will enjoy it tomorrow for lunch. The only negative about this place is the signage from Rt 202, there is none. Or at least we didn't see it. We were driving around all of the parking lots because the directions told us we arrived . We then saw a small sign on the building, so we parked right in front. For the success of this business, I hope better signage will be coming. Great place!

From the butcher / preppred foods side - we had a huge crown of pork for Christmas. Fantastic!! Fresh, expertly cut (lots o meat!) and very well priced. The perogies and potatoes au gratin are out of this world - fresh and made in house. Deli-wise - very good sandwiches for reasonable prices (6.99) . No big sandwich menu, but there are daily specials, and you can get just about anything made. In house breaded chicken and veggies, great rolls from Calandra's, and quality Boars Head meats. While the sandwiches are not very glamorous - they are high quality and tasty. The shop has some pastas, homemade sauces, and other treats on shelves.. but the centerpiece is the cooler with prepped dishes for take-out.. its like a little wonderland of homemade goodness in there - meatballs.. stuffed shells.. rigatoni.. wings.. perogies.. chicken this/that .. the list goes on.. they have it all on their website. Lots of stuff in there that I'll eventually work on sampling - even if I do live 250 miles away. They have dedicated parking spots and terrific service.

This place has everything Italian your heart desires and more. They have an amazing long display of homemade prepared foods. It's the biggest one I've ever seen for an Italian market in NJ. You can find chicken cutlets, broccoli rabe, arancini, carbonara cappellini, potato and cheese croquettes, cakes, fruiti de mare salad, several types of seafood salads, crab cakes, eggplant parm, sicilian eggplant, jumbo fried shrimp, specialty burgers and sliders, several types of prepared salmon, grilled and roasted vegetables, an antipasto bar, an entire cheese department with imported and homemade cheeses, such as homemade mozzarella, bocconcini, basket cheese aka"formaggio da pasta filata" ( yes and not just at the holidays) and homemade ricotta. They have tons and tons of all different types of olives. Uncle Giuseppe's sells Italian and imported specialty products. They have a fresh meat department, a fresh fish department, a full deli, fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh pastas, a variety of homemade ravioli's, a coffee bar with assorted expresso beans, and other flavored beans you can grind. A variety of Imported canned tomatoes and products from Italy. Homemade peanut butter you grind on the spot fresh with no additives. They have a nice selection of imported olive oils and vinegars. There's a hot takeout bar with meatballs, different kinds of pasta, chicken and vegetables. They even have a section where they make a variety of homemade pizzas. For dessert they have a bakery department that sells all types of Italian cookies, cakes, breads, pastries you name it they have it. As I walked around there were employees giving out samples of a variety of foods. Everything I tried was wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. This store has everything neatly displayed and very clean. I spent 2 hours here. I bought their brand of homemade imported extra virgin olive oil, antipasto, cheese & spinach ravioli's,bread, dried farro, vegetables, and cheeses. This store is a bit pricey but the quality and variety are simply amazing! There is a large free parking lot. You can grab a shopping cart, and near the entrance there are a few handicapped spots. I will definitely be back it's worth the trip. We drove an hour

But I lean towards 3 automatically because I prefer to see business do good. I ended up getting the tooth fairy on a whole sub. My friend had the chicken salad sub. POSITIVES: Bread was good & fresh just like the cold cuts & Cole slaw. They definitely take care of their product. Presentation from how the sandwich was put together, & the Turkey portion was THE BEST. Not too much where it only tasted like Turkey & pastrami, but just the right amount to make it a hefty sandwich where all the ingredients complimented each other. Wrapping & bagging is worthy of mention, great job. NEGATIVES: It was mostly Turkey with a tiny amount of pastrami, like one slice, MAYBE two. The Turkey did not taste like it was a good brand. It didn't have a bad taste, it just wasn't great quality. It would have been a better experience if the Cole slaw wasn't drowned in thousand islands dressing. Since the pastrami was so little it really doesn't make sense to put that dressing on it. Some bites the meat & cheese were nice & warm & other bites it was pretty cold, that inconsistency threw me off. As for the chicken salad sub, my friend had better & also gave it a 3. CUSTOMER SERVICE: The young lady did great in putting things together. Seemed to be a great employee as far as performance, she may need a little improvement with friendliness. Can't say she was rude but a bit stand offish. Friendliness goes a long way. Overall, when you compare the price for quality, I honestly wouldn't come back here again. This place is NOWHERE near a 4 1/2 in my opinion, but I hope they do well.
