They were challenging, but rewarding . The owner was present for our second go around, and she even showed us the next room she was working on! You are greeted by the charismatic host, Dick, who explains to you the rules of the game and the gore you are about to expect. I hate scary things so I was terrified. But as we move into the 3 escape rooms, it gets less and less scary. There are live actors mixed with a bunch of animatronics. The actors do get rather close to you, but it is nothing extreme. Our group did not make it through, but we definitely had a lot of laughs on the way. Escape rooms are great for groups, with the level of creepiness, I would say this is more so for 13+.

Previously, I did most of my axe throwing in my enchanted forest. After one too many yeets, several maple trees ganged up and tortured me in my sleep -- leaving me behind as they ran away to find new ground. All of us had a blast solving puzzles and competing to see which group would solve their room first. The puzzles are challenging and really engage everyone's unique abilities. We also had some time to test our axe throwing skills. Our group loved this too. I think that this is a great place for all types of groups. Hopefully we get to return for some more fun.
