Stumbled upon this bakery and wasn't disappointed…read more I ordered the half zaatar/half cheese manoushe and it was pretty big, fresh, and tasty. There's an option to add veggies, but I decided to have it as is. I also tried the lahmajoun, which was full of flavor and really filling. There are a few tables for dining in, as well as some imported grocery items available. There can be a bit of a wait for your order, but I honestly don't mind since the manoushes are made fresh to order.

Discovered this humble place a few years ago upon a suggestion of a relative who praised them for…read morehaving one of the best zaatar pizzas in town. Went and gave them a try. Now a regular, once every other week I gotta have my zaatar fix. So the generous stars given here are for the zaatar item only as I tried their other products (except the sweets) and found them to be decent, nothing disappointing. I would pick up any other item from their menu if I'm not feeling particularly choosy that day. It'll do the trick. According to my tastebuds, they take the crown for the zaatar pizza. Delicious dough, the right thickness and size but most importantly the zaatar mix itself. That right amount of sumac and perhaps other ingredients are used which dictates my judgment for this food. A warning tho, you have to advise them not to crisp your pizzas. If you don't like them well done, just ask them not to do so or otherwise they will. Looks like it's their standard way of baking the zaatar. Not for me, I don't like my zaatar slightly burnt. I tried almost all other well known bakeries in Laval and Montreal that sell zaatar along with other similar Lebanese/Syrian specialties and the closest one that comes to Najah's zaatar is the hole in the wall Arax bakery on Samson street. A runner up worth giving a try also. As for their sweets.... hmmm, I personally don't come to these type of bakeries for sweets. It's not their main specialty so it could be a hit or miss taste experience and also, freshness will play a major role. Throughout my numerous visits there, I haven't witnessed not even once anyone ordering baklavas and this is a busy bakery, specially on weekends.

I've been here a few times and have only ordered their sandwiches for lunch. They tend to have about half a dozen prepared sandwich types but you're also welcome to create your own. I like that! I use to come here growing up as a kid with my mom or dad. but no one's really keeping it up to date or even seem to care Food: It's just run down :/ .. I use to come here and remember smelling the insane fresh baked breads on a daily Today I couldn't smell anything getting made.. breads (halah bread .. wasn't fresh at all .. made yesterday Chalah rolls were not soft or tasty like I remember the choped Liver , kreplas and latkas were not good as they add tons of fillers.. It doesn't taste premium quality as the name suggests it... Chopped liver 1/5 definitely has like barely any liver ... It was around 8$... I can get way better chopped liver elsewhere The Kreplas yuckk .. 1/5 I'm use to REAL. Beef or chicken in the dumplings but it tasted like mashed potatoes with some beef spice .. it was about 16$ for 4 small bags.. really upset ! The cookies which I wanted to get use to be legendary decided not to get it it was around 14$ wow Price hikes are insane ., Service: Ok... They're very sloppy and don't seem to want to be there or care about you They just want you out the door Cost: Real Expensive .. but the quality is totally downhill Parking: easy free parking they have a large private lot Overall.. I'm kind of sad to see this place run down as I have so much awesome memories growing up and it's sad to see a place extremely run down makes me feel melancholic:( to not recommend them anymore.
