A few hours prior Kierra texted me with parking instructions then when we arrived was prompt to meet us (and we were even early) the studio was lovely with such a cute aesthetic and of course smelled amazing. She was patient and very knowledgeable as we built our fragrances, and wanted us to both leave with something we loved. I have only had my perfume one day and already received compliments on my smell. I would recommend this experience to anyone and I look forward to going back .

I walked in and was surprised at the number of people in the store within an hour of opening on Sunday. The store layout is all about testers. You test items with the provided tester implements. They have a lot of lip gloss, balms and lipsticks and liners. There are also fragrance testers. Of course their goal is to get you to buy multiple items and the average cost per item is about $20. After a few minutes an associate came over to assist. She was very friendly and offered some suggestions because at that point I was not impressed with the offerings. Not anything particular, they don't have any colors or features you can't find in other products so I probably need to do research on the brand to figure out the hype. The associate was kind and I ended up buying a lip cream and a pair socks. With tax and all I probably spent right at $30. I'll post pics of the lip cream (G Suit in Shift) when I wear it but it's just a new brand not anything fancy. Probably not a return visit on the horizon but mostly because I honestly have no desire for a $24+ lip gloss habit.

I would never just "pop in" to go to this Sephora but if I'm making a trip to PCM for some other reason, I will kill a few birds with that stone. Which is what happened on this most recent visit... I'd purchased a concealer online that was way too light and needed to return/exchange for another color that would be best to swatch/test in-store. Although I realized in advance that I was outside of the 30-day window by about a week, I timed my trip around visiting family, knowing that we were going to hit up PCM. Thankfully the Charlotte Tilbury rep was hovering in the area and she helped me to identify the best shade for what I was looking for. When I went to the checkout, the sales person pointed out the 30-day policy -- btw, turns out that it is 30 days from the date the order was purchased, doesn't matter that it took an additional week to actually arrive at my house via shipping to even know that the color was wrong. I could have sworn I saw on their website that items beyond 30 days could be exchanged, up to 60 days, but that's not what the staff member at the register said. However, without me having to escalate, he automatically went to get the manager. She did not want to let me do an exchange but I was both polite and persistent and she finally caved, allowing me to do this as a "one-time" courtesy. This Sephora is not as expansive as other ones and didn't have the limited edition Sol de Janeiro my niece wanted, for example. However, if you need to stock up on your favorite items or you're already in this shopping center, this Sephora is a good option.

(Mind you, most of the staff was black). And if I hadn't had to pay for parking, I wouldn't have bought the one thing I did. Everybody should be treated kindly, but since the difference was so clear, I would never come back to this location. Even locations with mostly nonblack staff are much more hospitable than this. You get to choose the color of your bottle and name your scent. They also create a profile in case you want to order the scent again.
