I get there, and there was 4 ladies working and only me. The nail tech was talking to her coworkers and watching a horror movie on the tv ignoring me completely. I didn't expect a whole conversation with her- but as she was very distracted, she cut my cuticles and was very harsh with the buffing and filing. I decided to give it a second shot. In November, I was scheduled for a C-section and needed to get my acrylic nails removed. I told the nail tech that I wanted my nails to be natural. I just wanted the acrylic off, nails filed and buffed. Needles to say, I had SO many random cuts in my nail beds. Nail tech (a different one than the first) was very distracted with her coworkers. It seems like this place doesn't care for their clients and sees this more as a place where they get to hangout and watch Netflix all day long. Definitely never going back.

But the day of.. everything worked out fine. I grew up in McAllen, now live in SA, and had been in California prior to that.. so coming back down to the valley for hair and makeup made me nervous as to what we may be getting. I showed a pic off Pinterest of the updo I wanted. Carina nailed it. I was so happy. I absolutely loved what she did, and she did it based off a picture!! I would definitely recommend her for updos for any purpose, formula, proms, weddings, you name it. Rebecca did makeup for 2 of us. She was so kind, energetic and very informative. I explained what I wanted, the color of my dress and expressed my love of GLITTER, not shimmer, glitter. And she too nailed it!
