He kept trying to up sell me - didn't even get a single cleaning yet. They were delayed significantly in showing up. A month past the estimate they made. They finally show up, unannounced, and offer additional services on the side. They seemed like reasonable services so I thought I'd take the guys up on it. In 15 minutes, the guys were done cleaning the gutters. So I spent $250 for 15 minutes. Not only did they not appropriately clean the gutters, they additionally left a mess, not cleaning up after themselves. They left gutter slop, tree branches, and other garbage on the lawn. The extra services? A bunch of garbage as well, doing minimal agreed upon work. I write a Google review expressing my disappointment. I ended up receiving a phone call from a lady who works for Cincy Gutter Boys who tries to bribe me to take my review down. Not only was it a shady thing to do, it was also a weak bribe. Jeremy Is knowledgeable, honest, and responsive to every question, concern, text message, etc. Jeremy's timelines were surprisingly quick and completely accurate. His description of the process was spot on and never once did the work run over the quote he provided. Clearview not only replaced the traditional asphalt roof on our garage, but also repaired our metal porch roofs, slate shingles on the main structure, and reconstructed entire box gutters--which is not an easy task. We are beyond impressed with Clearview Construction and will always use them in the future for any projects we can.

Recently, I had an unfortunate encounter with a contractor I hired to disassemble a chimney and remove a bee hive that had been built inside the chimney. This particular contractor did not tear down the chimney properly or seal it off correctly and ended up causing thousands of dollars in damage to our home. I immediately called Jeremy from Clearview Construction (which I should have done from the start) because he had previously done excellent work on repairing water damage in our mud room. He came right out and took photos of the damage and what needed done. Unlike the previous contractor he wrote up a professional contract, helped me figure out how I could afford to get all the work done and started as soon as the weather allowed. He took care of ordering all the materials, his team was delightful, he always took my calls and texts and was extremely responsive and communicated his intentions. Good communication is rare in construction work and it was much appreciated. They were always there when they said they would be there and completely the work in a timely fashion. Jermey and his team really went above and beyond. When I had trouble finding a beekeeper (who was also fantastic), Jeremy reached out and found one for me. He even offered to testify in small claims court against the other contractor. Clearview Construction is worth every penny. You can't do any better, from the office staff to the team who completed the work....an all around awesome group of people. Please don't be like me and try to cut corners. If I had hired Jeremy from the start I would have saved upwards of $10,000 because the work would have been done right the first time. Trust me when I say Clearview Construction is the only company that will work on my 120 year old home going forward.

The prior three roofers I contacted had either presented a quote, and didn't respond when I accepted, or just didn't work up the estimate, even though they were on my property to do so. JAF's quote was lower than two of the previous, and the job was completed seamlessly, ahead of schedule, and the grade/color of shingles placed were perfectly matched to my brick color. You could barely tell they had been on my property because the cleanup was immaculate, down to cleaning the leaf pile in my driveway from the winter. Even left a full bundle of shingles I had paid for, but he could have taken it and used it on another job. If you don't like to be jerked around, just go with JAF and make it easy on yourself.
