We were told by the phone salesman that a VPN was a necessity. He neglected to say it's really only needed if you use public wifi, which we don't. We went to our local Best Buy to see if they could help us with these problems and they told us that we don't need a VPN. We've removed the VPN from all of our devices and tried to return it nine days after the purchase date only to find out that the 30-day NordVPN 100% satisfaction guarantee doesn't apply if it's purchased at Best Buy. This is the same for almost all software that offers a money-back guarantee. Do yourself a favor and only purchase software directly from the manufacture. We might as well have flushed $70 down the toilet.

No one…read morehad what should have been routine answers for questions I had and efforts to trouble-shoot issues were never offered as they arose. I was repeatedly told by Best Buy staff that they could not help me, to contact Insignia products. At least Insignia was easier to talk to but lacked appropriate communication with Best Buy staffers themselves. There were contradictions in what I was repeatedly being told without explanation or clarification. After an over 500$ purchase which included a warranty, I have wasted hours trying to get the information needed. Let me be clear... BEST BUY sucks. The organizations Best Buy pays to pick up the pieces after the traumatic experience of dealing with in-store inept personnel far exceed any of Best Buy efforts. My ac unit was bought outright in April and only was used weeks in May when it was first turned on. The manual is useless. Everything I found was posted online never clearly getting a picture of how to use my unit to increase its longevity. I have cashed in with my warranty and the new unit has now been installed-a fight I had to take on even though I had paid for the original installation. With no coaching as to the effective use of the product I have done everything I can. It is a loud unit, louder than the first. I found that information online. What is normal for the Insignia ac? I don't know but maybe I will trip over more info online. It sure wont be found at the store. What is the recommended maintenance? That info is coming in one small detail at a time, again online. And I paid what? 529$ and I cashed in on the replacement. I will run it until it runs no-more still doing the best I can with non-existent support I have. (No family either) If I get less than 4 years outs THIS unit I will be asking be reimbursement of the total price. BEST BUY should be called BIGGEST RIP-OFF!!!

    I was told that I would get an assessment for my TV repair the next day and it didn't happen. I…read morecalled after a week and he said it would be done that day and it didn't happen. I call both mobile and shop number and messages are full and he won't answer the phone. My TV has been there for a week now. Now I just hope that I can get it back. Update: I was finally able to get a hold of the shop. They analyzed and found the problem. I have my TV back.

    I have got to say this place deserves a RAVING review!!! I was doubting getting my TV…read morerepaired...only really ONE place in Yakima to have it done, and I saw that the shop was not even open until 12:00! Well, I called and left a message....sure enough, I received a call back within a timely matter; was asked right away what was wrong with my TV, then what brand and then we discussed what the value of the set was if I was to buy it again. He gave me his opinion that he thought that it was worth fixing; stated up front $50.00 deposit, but told me that this went towards the repair if I decided to have it repaired....otherwise the deposit payed for his time & effort in diagnosing the problem and to give me an estimate of the repair. This actually made perfect sense to me....man's time and craft is worth something! Decided to "take a chance" and I took my set down to him...we decided on a time to drop the set off at his shop and I met him there. Approximately 2-3 days later he called me back, explained the problem - not using a bunch of technical jargon...I mean explained it well - and not like I was an idiot either. He gave me the estimate (more than an estimate, stated this is what it will be EXACTLY) and stated that it would be done the next day....stated did not get paid until the end of the week; he said no problem. So, gave him the "go ahead" and set up a time to pick up my TV and pay him for his services. End of the week went and picked up the TV. He had it set up for me to see, hooked to an antennae....had me test it all out for myself, (and the wife) and was even missing a couple of screws in the base that he located some replacements for me for free. The price he gave me on the phone matched EXACTLY...not a penny more! We all sat and talked for a bit about how to increase the odds of getting HD reception in out geographical area....then....then (wait for it) ...then REALLY threw us for a loop. Here we are SURROUNDED by HD antennas ranging from $50.00 and up. He watched me pull the cash out of my wallet....he knew I COULD afford one...he was aware of the difficulty with our TV reception problems...so he gave us a small HD antenna and said try this if it works...keep it - you owe me nothing for it, if it doesn't work bring it back....but I think it will work for you. It is the best antenna we have EVER had...crystal clear channels...ALL CHANNELS! Now if you all want to know the repair I needed :) My TV would only power on when it wanted to, then eventually not at all....I thought it was a goner. TOTAL BILL: $225.00 It's a 52' LCD Flatscreen Olevia....not a cheap Wal-Mart today model...so I think it was worth it...we are happy. And considering I have a forever future repair guy that I TRUST....PRICELESS! Just can't give this place enough KUDOS!
