Really disappointed in this place. I used to loyally go here all the time for a variety of…read moreservices. Well, unfortunately during one of their "sales" I had fell victim to the alluring scam of buying a whole vial of filler ($700!) in advance for a small discounted price. Well, life happens. Due to medical reasons along with moving states, I no longer opt to get filler and I am physically unable to get there. They will not give me my money back. No "fault" of their own... "policies" etc... However, as a small business owner myself, unique situations have to be considered. If a customer literally moved states and could not medically get said procedure anymore, I would personally give them their money back. Especially for such a significant amount of money... I feel like I just got robbed. Sad to leave this place a negative review but even sadder to see their lack of humanity given certain circumstances.

I'm only getting the vitamin drip not interested in body appearance enhancements . The massage chairs make getting an I.V. a relaxing experience . The provided mood music is okay but next time I will bring headphones and stream from my phone . I did feel safe and well looked after but I think there should be a call button just for any unforseen issue that might arise . The vitamin bag can be custom mixed for your health needs . Prices differ as more complex additions are mixed in .

Had an appointment at 1:50 pm, called to say I'll be four minutes late, no answer, walk in and said…read moreI'd have to come back at 3pm. The front desk lady said she was in another room and couldn't answer the phone. Sadly, go somewhere else. Their customer service sucks I called the number you provided and was told there was nothing they could do other than share my feedback with the office. I understand being late can be an issue, but I was only a few minutes behind schedule and tried calling ahead several times with no answer. Being turned away and asked to come back later felt disappointing, especially since I made an effort to communicate. I appreciate the response, but unfortunately the outcome was exactly the same, so my experience and opinion of how the situation was handled haven't changed. You need to update your policy and actually have it advertised for your paying customers. The text saying please arrive 5 mins early for your appointment isn't enough. Have a clear message regarding if grace periods exist and how long.

I had a very upsetting experience at Milan Laser in Schererville, Indiana, and based on how I was…read moretreated, I would not recommend this location to people of color or to anyone who cares about respectful, non-discriminatory customer service. I arrived early for my 12:50 appointment and the manager, a white woman whose name I do not know, did not acknowledge me when I walked in because she was on the phone. After she finally spoke to me, I began asking a simple question about whether Lindsay, the regional manager, could contact me. While I was still speaking, a white woman walked in and the manager completely cut me off to help her instead. She immediately turned her full attention to that customer, spoke warmly to her, and even took her early for a later consultation, while I was left sitting there. When I pointed out that I had been speaking first and wanted to finish my question, the manager became combative and kept falsely claiming I was asking for "personal information," which was not true. I was simply asking whether she could have Lindsay contact me. She then started saying I had to wait for HR, which made no sense and felt like a tactic to avoid helping me. As a Black woman, I left feeling singled out, stereotyped, and treated differently. The difference in how I was treated compared to the white customer was very noticeable. I also have concerns about scheduling, because since a newly hired Black technician started, I have repeatedly been scheduled with her, even though I previously had a different technician and asked about returning to her. I was told scheduling is "random," but it does not feel random based on my experience. I paid in full, and instead of feeling valued as a customer, I left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location to people of color or to anyone who takes discrimination seriously. If you are a person of color, or if respectful and fair treatment matters to you, I would think twice before coming here.

Let me tell you about Ms. Raquel. This woman has passion to…read moreget rid of you hair more than you having the unwanted hair! She is just true joy and comfort while treating embarrassing facts of a hairy woman's life. She fully explained the process, which I was clueless about and walked me through every step and question. After having thick course hair on my upper and lower lip after one session is a dramatic difference I bought 6 months worth but can't imagine this even taking all those months Phenomenal results! Go here now!

First & foremost, I've had multiple laser treatments at different locations, and this one…read more[unfortunately] merits a review. I agree with all other reviewers as it relates to Raquel (owner); she is upbeat, funny, & passionate about her work and that certainly shows. Contrarily, "best practices" as it relates to running a business aren't as adamantly followed. I paid $300+ for a Groupon deal: Six Sessions on a Large Area. During my first visit, I learned that the "large areas" spelled out on Groupon weren't quite right, & that I would have to cough up ANOTHER $100 EACH SESSION to cover a "larger" area (STILL NOT THE FULL AREA). My $300 "deal" just skyrocketed into a $1,000 hole in my pocket. I grudgingly paid the surcharge to just get it over with, & tipped $20+ for each 10-minute visit, because that's what thoughtful customers do. Unfortunately the thoughtfulness is only a one-way street at Take It Off! Spa: there's a $75 rescheduling fee (regardless of how far in advance you notify). Mind you, Raquel has same-day cancelled my appointment & I happily accommodated a new time, where I ended up waiting 20+ minutes in the building lobby for her to show up. Organization isn't a strong suit, as evidenced through the slapdash rescheduling & more importantly, as evidenced through Raquel's management (or lack thereof) of her calendar. She didn't correctly jot down my next appointment time, & had no idea that I was showing up when I was SCHEDULED TO show up. On top of that, she didn't hesitate to charge me $75 should I opt to reschedule. This was beyond dishonest, and I was beyond disheartened by this; Needless to say, I just walked out & gave up the remaining $100 of my pre-paid voucher. As I said before, I've had multiple laser treatments in the past, and I've never paid the kind of money at other institutions as I have at Take It Off! Spa. A $300 "deal" just turned into $1000+ of sunk cost & lost time. Before committing to any treatment, do yourself (and your pockets) a favor & look elsewhere.
