I did only pay 40 in the end tho. Could have bought myself a new nail varnish and some nice foot cream and done it myself at home. It wasn't the nice experience I was expecting.

The therapist who looked after me was lovely and chatty and I got the impression she knew what she was doing. An enzyme peel was applied to my skin, followed by the dermabrasion which is like a small hoover that hoovers up all the dead skin revealing a more youthful and glowing layer of skin. At least that's the idea. After the 'hoover', a soothing mask was applied and some SPF. I was really happy with my treatment and I will return for their special offer of 3 for 150Euro soon.

The salon was very nice and clean inside, however the availability of appointments is quite limited so it's best to ring for one a few days in advance. Overall, efficient and professional service, nice staff, a variety of treatments available and clean clinic.

My other big issue was that a mask was applied and the therapist left the room and came back 10/15 mins later when it was ready to wash off. I generally use this as an indicator as to whether I feel like I've gotten value for money - most good spas will use this time to massage arms/shoulders so that you're getting some sort of the treatment for the duration of the appointment. I'll accept that I din't complain at the time - but felt awkward complaining that the therapist smelled... Definitely will not return.

Although I had been walking past it for a while I only recently ventured in to have a look (whilst bored and waiting for someone) and I'm so glad I did. Their products are all made with natural ingredients so I don't have to worry about my reacion to the chemicals that you get in some of the high street beauty chains. The staff are really knowledgable about their products and I received such good service from them. They only recommened stuff that they could see was right for me and they weren't pushy in the way some smaller chains can be. The Green tea and orange moisturising toner is particularly good!

I don't need anything mad done to my hair but I have left other barber shops in the past as though I had walked along the wrong side of the tracks in a native American reservation and been scalped. Nothing fancy inside but I reassured myself there doesn't need to be. After all, I just want them to cut my hair properly. So the time came and the words "Who's next?" rang out. I rose from my chair and slowly made my way to the chair. I sat and when I started to answer the question "So, what can I do for you?", he finished my sentence with almost exactly the same words I was about to. Relief washed over me in an awesome wave. We chatted away, mostly about the area, since he'd asked if I was new to it and fifteen minutes later I walked out happy to have found my new barber shop!
