Perfect Tyme lived up to it name. They replaced a broken mainspring on my 37-yo wall clock, which was an heirloom made for us by my dad as a wedding present. They got it back sooner than promised and it has been keeping perfect time for a month now. Would def recommend them. read more

Our Colonial Grandfather clock (made circa 1930-40) slowed then stopped working. Perfect Tyme came out to our home to fix it. They were on time and very courteous, telling us about the clock's history. We were lucky the clock needed only cleaning and oil. Oiling these clocks is tricky, just a speck of clock oil in the oil reservoirs and a few other places. For this the movement had to be taken out of the clock. Everything was done with expertise and no mess. The clock is tick-tocking and ding-donging happily again. I have seen the Perfect Tyme signs in the Village for decades and this is the first time we have needed them. Highly recommended! PS -I understand that these clocks should be oiled every 3 years for clock longevity, so we'll be calling then. Thanks. read more

When my regular clock repairman retired I was very nervous about trying a new company. I read reviews and decided to give Perfect Tyme a try. I am so happy I did!I have done business with Perfect Tyme twice over the last couple of years. Once for a major repair to my grandfather clock and once for regular maintenance. I have been extremely happy both times. They are professional, you know how much the service will cost beforehand, no hidden costs and they are accurate as to the length of time the service will take and they show up on time for appointments. I highly recommend Perfect Tyme! read more

We inherited my Dad's old Grandfather clock and Scott quoted me a fair price for moving it, explained how the process was and could move it within a week. Most grandfather clock repairers in our area would not move it, the movers quoted us a high price and frankly I didn't think they would treat it gently like Perfect Tyme. So Scott moved it for us and set it back up. Since then we had it serviced for maintenance and also had it cleaned and lubricated and Perfect Tyme did a great job! Since my initial contact with Scott I discussed the maintenance and cleaning with Sue and she was always professional and returned my calls within 1 day if I called after hours or the same day if I called during their regular business hours. I would highly recommend Perfect Tyme for maintenance and moving or cleaning (if needed). read more

I have a 25 year old grandfather clock that I have never had serviced. It stopped chiming correctly, so I figured it was "time" to get it looked at. I had no idea where to go and I figured it was going to be really expensive to fix. I found Perfect Tyme by doing a google search, and WOW...it was an easy fix. They were quick to get me a house call and the clock was serviced and fixed in less than 30 minutes. The cost was reasonable and much less then I had anticipated. I am so glad I found Perfect Tyme!! read more

This is my only recommended clock shop. They fix and service all five of my wind up clocks none newer than 26 years old and as much as 99 years old. They are fantastic and their work is impeccable. If you want a reliable trustworthy shop, this is the place. read more

I inherited a wall clock that my grandparents got from Germany. It hadn't worked for years. I wanted to get it fixed and took it to Perfect Tyme. They exceeded my expectations. He really knows clocks and spent time with me, making sure I understood everything. He told me all about the clock and what I could expect. I had him fix it and it has worked perfectly ever since. I would go nowhere else to ge a clock serviced or repaired. read more

There's no one better to repair your clocks. Period. Sue was quick to return my call, very kind and accommodating, and got me on the schedule in a timely manner. Scott came to our home to repair two clocks -- one large wall clock and a 12-year-old grandfather clock. He worked silently like a doctor! Checking things, diagnosing the problem, informing me of the repairs needed, and confirming the cost. The work was done to perfection! Now the clocks I love and see each and every day are working flawlessly again. Thank you, Perfect Tyme! You are now my go-to clock repair experts! read more

I recently had Perfect Tyme do a maintenance on my 36 year old grandfather clock. They have been servicing this clock on a regular basis since they have been in business. I find them completely reliable and they care about these special clocks that they take care of. My clock was a birthday present from my husband who is now deceased so it's really special to me and I wouldn't have anyone else service it. You can trust this company. Thank you Richard read more

Clock works perfectly now. It's an old Ansonia wall clock and Scott did a great job fixing it. Parts were needed and we weren't sure they were available. read more

My sligh clock was a present in 1998 to my late husband. It has not been wound since he did it, 13 years ago. I decided it was time to hear it again, found a postcard from Perfect Tyme dated 2012. I called them and even tho we're still on covid time, they immediately called me back and within a few days, were here. The clock had also been moved because of a remodeling project in my home. He took the clock apart, cleaned it, adjusted a loose part, and gave me advice and information on my clock. He was quick, efficient, and now I'm enjoying this clock that meant so much to my husband. I totally recommend them. I believe the cost was totally reasonable. read more

Super cool and professional. Arrived on time and explained the problem to me. Before fixing the issue, I was given choice whether I want to get clock issue fixed or not. I don't think other places will do free diagnostics. I will definitely go to this place for any other clock issues. read more

We purchased from Perfect Tyme (7/17/2013) a Howard Miller grandfather clock that we picked on line. Sue and Scott at Perfect Tyme were wonderful all the way through the process. They gave us a better deal than what we would have got if we purchased on line. Their deal still included free delivery to my Rancho Cucamonga address and set up. The clock was delivered with a beautiful bouquet of roses in a nice vase as a "thank you" gift within 2 weeks at the specified day time. Sue was great in answering all our questions throughout the process since we were newbies to manual clocks. Scott was also wonderful when he delivered and installed the clock. He spent over 35 minutes doing a careful job and orienting me on its operation. They made us feel like we were their special customers. They sure won our business as long as we own the clock. We highly recommend Perfect Tyme for their devotion to great customer service. read more

I had them come out to look at my grandfather clock which wan't working. Richard figured out that it wan't an easy fix and wan't going to charge me for the time to come out. I chose to have him take the clock to the shop to fix the sprocket. It came back better than new. read more

Great service! Sue makes sure that you are satisfied. I brought in a wall clock that I got as a wedding gift and it stopped working. I took it over and they had to switch out the mechanism and hands, but the hands were black! It did not look good with the gold mirror framing that the clock had. So, Sue offered to spray paint it gold so that it would match and now you can't even tell the hands are not the original. It costed me around $30 which is alot better than buying a new wall clock of that size (and did not want to replace since it was a wedding gift). I would definitely recommend for anyone who is looking to repair their clocks. read more

I have known of Perfect Tyme for many years and have spoken with Scott and his wife about what I'm looking for in a grandfather clock as well as repairs numerous times. I have always been treated very well and am so happy they're there to take care of this for me! read more

OMG, if you are looking for clock repair this is the place you want to go to. They are so nice and know their stuff. They are very reasonable also. I went to have a wall clock fixed and they only charged me $10.00 for the part. I know everyone's clock repair is different but I had taken this clock to a place in Covina on Citrus and they wanted $50.00 to fix it. I would definitely go back to them again. read more

I had just bought a watch that I needed to have some links taken out of, so I looked up a watch repair shop on Yelp, and this was the closest one. When I got in, it was clearly a clock shop, so I figured maybe they specialized in clocks but could also fix watches, since watch repair was clearly listed as one of their services on Yelp. When I asked the woman if she could take links out of my watch (not even a real repair, but just take out some links) she seemed annoyed that I had even asked, and told me to go somewhere else. Apparently this happens a lot because they are misrepresented on Yelp. So my two star review is nothing to do with their clocks or clock repair, which I am sure they are great at. My two star review is because the woman was rude to me for something that was not my fault. It's not her fault that Yelp has false info about them either, which is why it's not a one star review. So to summarize, she was rude to me for asking a simple question about a simple service. I definitely would not go back to them, even if I did have a clock that needed repair. Just rude. read more

Perfect Tyme has performed clock maintenance on our grandfather clock since it was brand new. We trust their work and rely on their reminders to schedule service. Without fail they have came through for the last 15 years. Also, they rebuilt our 1901 mantle clock that for the last 50 years didn't work, but Perfect Tyme was able to fully restore and make it work perfectly. Thank you for Perfect Tyme! read more

We had a 60 year old wall clock repaired here, and Mark and staff did a beautiful job. Yes, we did wait a couple of months - but that's because there were many people ahead of us. It was worth the wait. They obviously know what they're doing and take great care doing it! I also received clear helpful instructions on how to hang the clock the right way. So grateful for everything. Thank you! read more

Took my wife's cuckoo clock in because the chain came off the sprocket. It does that once every couple of years. In the past I've watched my father in law open the back and carefully reset the chain on the sprocket using a pair of tweezers within a couple of minutes (by the way, he's not a clock maker or repairman). This time I took it to "Perfect Tyme". Paid to have it fixed. It took a WEEK. When I picked it up I was told they had to take apart. I guess some normal person can simply reset the chain but these guys had to TAKE IT APART. Took it home, it never really worked right and within a day the chain came off again. I don't know what they did to it but it certainly is not "fixed". At this point I'd say the clock is pretty much ruined, unless I want to take it somewhere else and pay someone to take it apart AGAIN and repair it the way it's supposed to be. I will not be going to this business again. read more
