The time the photo of the clock was taken.

What a wonderful experience we had with Perfect Tyme! You will not find another clock repair shop this good. We have one of the last George Nelson originals made. We had a new movement installed by the grumpy clock guy in Claremont and it failed within a couple of weeks. He would blame us for sneezing too close to it or something. We left it stopped for a couple of years. I kept looking up Perfect Tyme, but it seemed at first that they only specialize in grandfather clocks. I happily found out, they are experts with a lifetime of experience in all clocks. The photos show our clock today. Perfect Tyme installed a new movement several weeks ago. We have not adjusted the clock at all since. As you can see by the photos, it is still keeping "Perfect Tyme." Also, Sue and her husband are absolutely delightful people to work with and are also very Covid conscious.

My 23 year old grandfather clock! Thank you for doing great servicing Perfect Tyme.

I hate writing negative reviews. I really do. Especially for small businesses such a this one. Up…read moreuntil now, the only other times I've done it were for some crappy clothing store in Fullerton and a pizza joint that served me food with hair on it. But this place deserves it. I would give Gold'n Time negative stars if I could. That's why I was so surprised to read other reviews on here calling the man who works at this store "courteous", "helpful", and "friendly". He was pretty much the exact opposite of all of that when I talked to him earlier today. I came to this place to get a watch repaired. It's an old, rare watch with delicate parts inside. It's also a collector's item and not a typical run-of-the-mill watch. I *wanted* to tell the guy working at the store to be extra careful with it. I *wanted* to let him know that I wasn't sure which battery the watch needed and that I had brought a few different kinds I thought would work. I *wanted* to tell him that I suspected some of the parts had been replaced by the previous owner and that they were not the right fit. But I didn't get to say much of anything. Right as I was about to tell him about the batteries, he cut me off mid-sentence without letting me explain what the overall problem even was. He said he "didn't need any explanations". He did so in a very rude manner that's hard for me to describe in mere words. You just had to be there to witness it. He then unceremoniously grabbed my cherished collector's item and began roughly unscrewing the back of it. When he inevitably came to the obvious fact that it was missing a battery, he came back to ask me which battery the watch needed. I told him that if he'd just been a little more patient and listened to me earlier, I would've already answered that question. This only annoyed him further and he became even more rude. (Side note: I came here for much more than just a simple battery replacement.) At this point, I'd had enough and told him to give me back my watch. He did so and told me not to come back to the store. In response, I flipped him off and called him a few colorful names. Needless to say, I will never consider coming back here or giving him my money ever again. How can someone fix something without knowing what the problem is first? Wouldn't it help to know which part of a device needs the most attention before trying to repair it? And why would anyone think that being rude to customers would be good for business? The guy who works here is a complete idiot. I ended up taking my watch to a place at the mall. They fixed it quickly, for very little money, and the service was excellent. Don't come to Gold'n Time in Glendora. This place sucks.
