A cautionary tale, not a dentist visit. I was forced to go to this office in person, because I was charged for the insurance plan against my express and stated wishes, without my authorization or approval. I had called the County Line and Holly office last year, told them that I would not be returning, and NOT to charge me for their mostly useless "plan." I was assured that I would not be charged. The office CLOSED permanently. I have a wonderful new dentist. On Thursday, to my complete shock, I received a notification that Perfect Teeth had stolen money from my account. I immediately called the bank, which said that it had to "post" before I could dispute it. I asked if I should call the company and ask them to reverse the charge. Ha, ha, that doesn't work. When you press 4 for "billing and contracts," you get people in a foreign call center who are SCHEDULERS and absolutely cannot do anything about billing. SMH. Waste of time. I called twice, spoke to two different people, one of whom unhelpfully gave me the disconnected number of the closed office, and another who said he would "send a note" to "someone." So I tried calling the Arapahoe office. I pressed "4" for billing. The call was disconnected immediately. Three times. At this point, I was REALLY fed up. I drove to the Arapahoe office. The receptionist , AJ, was as helpful as she could be. She apologized, and told me that pressing "4" doesn't work. It goes to the foreign call center. She made a call and asked that the charge be refunded. She was assured that it would be, in five to ten days. Ugh. I asked for written confirmation that the refund had been processed, and was told that I would get an email. Then I asked for my payment method to be removed. She couldn't do that. There is no option to delete either my credit card information OR my entire account. I have to call another number, of another company, which stores the credit card information. What a PITA. To add insult to injury, she thinks it's possible that the patient records from Holly were "lost." WTH? Anyway, while this was a dreadful and annoying experience, AJ was great. She was calm, patient, and sincere. If I hadn't decided to dump Perfect Teeth entirely, I would have been happy here, depending on the dentist and hygienist, of course. Moral of the story: don't trust Perfect Teeth to not steal money for their plan after you leave, even when the office is permanently CLOSED. And even if you were assured that you wouldn't be charged. read more

Do not come here. I live out of state had a dental emergency that was approved by insurance and they booked the appointment wrong the first time so I had to wait another 5 days with a broken tooth that cut my tongue open. The male office manager who refused to provide his name called me 15 minutes before my appointment saying he didn't have prior approval from another doctor. He then told me they weren't treating me and my mouth is bleeding as I'm sitting in the parking lot. They do not care about your health and how their lack of professionalism and organization affects their clients. They will deflect and disrespect you as if it's ok. They make critical and significant mistakes that put health and safety of their clients at risk. read more

Cherokee Trail Dental Review As an African-American and 100% disabled wartime veteran, I have never experienced such blatant disrespect and unprofessionalism as I did at Cherokee Trail Dental in Southlands. From the very beginning, I was treated with lies, hostility, and total disregard for both my service and my humanity. The front office staff--particularly a young woman who should represent professionalism--displayed the opposite. Instead, she consistently lied, instigated conflict, and showed one of the most mean-spirited attitudes I have ever encountered in a healthcare setting. After one simple comment I made about professionalism--suggesting they close their doors during meetings instead of leaving patients standing confused--she targeted me, creating excuse after excuse to delay or refuse my care. This included canceling pending treatments and making me wait weeks without the necessary dental work I had already been approved for through the VA. Their behavior is not only disrespectful, but it borders on demonic in its unapologetic lies and lack of accountability. As a disabled veteran who fought for this country, to be treated with such contempt and cruelty is beyond unacceptable. I was forced to file an official legal complaint against this organization because their conduct is discriminatory, unprofessional, and toxic. My recommendation is clear: no veteran, no person of color, and truly no patient at all should trust Cherokee Trail Dental. They do not deserve VA funding, they do not deserve the trust of patients, and they have proven they cannot deliver care without disrespect and discrimination. - Dr. Michael Gatewood read more

This has been simmering in my head a long time and this last awfulness happened maybe 1.5 yrs ago. I am fanatical about my teeth since undergoing the excruciating pain of braces, etc., at the orthodontist. I THOUGHT I had been getting good care from Perfect Teeth for the previous 20 or so years. I really liked the original dental hygienist (Kathy) and OG Dr. Bredbeck. HOWEVER, over the years I had discussed 2 issues that turned out to be far more problematic than they assumed. Also the newer doctor and dental hygienist I met (plus what turned out to have been a temp hygienist) didn't catch these issues either. 1) A sensitivity on the side of one tooth especially when I flossed. I brought this up years prior and several times. I was told there was nothing they could see in the x-rays and in examination. My first visit to another dentist, they spotted the cavity immediately! DR. BREDBECK HAD LET MY CAVITY BREW FOR YEARS! Now I had a deep cavity that I was told had an excellent chance of needing a root canal. At the new dentist, I very narrowly missed needing a root canal. I was advised if I still had sensitivity after a few weeks, I would probably have to consider a root canal. So sensitivity lasted and I made an endodontist appointment for after an imminent cross country visit with family. My family's best guess (because no one could say with certainty) is that the pressure changes during the plane ride triggered an inflammation which led to: an extremely painful jaw area on Friday (when I did go to an urgent care dentist) that I would be in unrelenting misery with till at least Monday, the earliest I could get seen at an endodontist (a whole other can of worms) . . . a massively swollen throat that BECAME AN ABSCESS which I didn't know it was . . . local emergency room visit and ambulance transport to city hospital with oral surgery department . . . emergency oral surgery with tooth extraction and drainage tube insert, 3.5 day hospital stay hours away from where I was visiting and a lot of pain from the ordeal and from the exercises I had to do to stretch open my locked down jaw. Needless to say, the rest of my trip was pretty much spent in recovery. I'm still in the process of spending time and plenty of money getting a replacement for that tooth that requires an implant into the bone and a crown on top. Just think, if they had seen the cavity before years of decay . . . . 2) For several years, there has been some receding in some areas of my gums (Some of it happens with age.), but it was chalked up to my teeth clenching (I've worn some kind of mouthguard at night for years.). At my very last visit at the Arapahoe Perfect Teeth, there was yet another hygienist, who noted more gum recession/inflammation. I learned the previous hygienist I had seen was a temp hygienist so no notes were made about my gums and no recommendation was made that I continue with my previous 3-4 month appointment plan. At this current visit, I was given the diagnosis of needing to treat these areas of "infection" by inserting antibiotic "capsules" into those areas, 18 of which had been identified. As I said, I'm fanatical about my teeth, and I'm of the "let's do it and get it over with" camp, so I said let's just do it and get it over with. After discussion with insurance, I was told my cost would be, I think, $1800-2000. THIS is the issue that convinced me never to go back to this office: the hygienist "slammed" all these "things" into my gums. I was already a little freaked out about this latest diagnosis and the cost, so I didn't think, but I WASN'T OFFERED ANY KIND OF ANESTHETIC administered when she did this. It was entirely a negative experience. Painful and no verbal support whatsoever. AT NO TIME THEN OR OVER THE YEARS DID ANYONE AT PERFECT TEETH RECOMMEND I SEE A PERIODONTIST where I did have a deep cleaning to stabilize those problem gum areas, WHICH DID REMAIN PROBLEM AREAS EVEN AFTER THE ANTIBIOTIC INSERTS. So what I believe are their misdiagnoses and grab for money have cost me not only in terms of time and finances but also in extended physical pain and permanent painful memories. read more

I made my appointment over 2 months ago. After numerous confirmation phone calls and emails, I was ready to go. A few mins before my appointment I received a text saying they had to cancel my appointment since the hygienist called out. THE hygienist? Yes, they only have one according to the receptionist I spoke with. No wonder why it has taken so long to get in. I won't even try to get another appointment after this horrible treatment. read more

Have to say that the last office visit for teeth cleaning was very disappointing. The woman who did my teeth didn't even really polish them after scraping/cleaning. She was done in what felt like 2 minutes, possibly less! Think the toothpaste she was using fell into my mouth and she gave up, nasty! This after I sat there for 25 minutes waiting for my appointment. :( Then I asked her how long had she been working at this office, she said not long and that she was a contractor. That's a huge red flag, since contractors are basically temp help so no way to build a professional relationship with one. Plus, everything suddenly became expensive? Not sure what happened as this was our first time in since Bruce and Kathy left, but after 23 years of loyalty I felt like someone bent me over the chair and cleaned my you know what instead of actually cleaning my teeth! Then the bill came, historically I almost never had any additional charges after a teeth cleaning (insurance covered it all). My teeth are in decent shape, wife's not so much but the bill was ridiculous. Looks like it's time to move on, the acquisition by Brident Dental has ruined this company... :( read more

I have been going to Dr. Bredbeck for over 15 years, and all I can say is that Perfect Teeth Arapahoe is everything a dentist office should be and more! Each and every one of their staff members cares about you and they do such an amazing job at making you feel comfortable while also being efficient with their dental procedures. The best part? They are so affordable. I would not trust anyone else with my teeth - which is why I still choose to fly in to Colorado for my dentist appointments and teeth cleanings here! I visited this dentist a year ago to get work done. They set up direct deposit and continued pulling payments after I had paid off the amount due. After A YEAR of trying to get my money back finally I was issued a check. Now, they're claiming I owe them that exact same amount they issued the check for. As I will not pay them that amount (since they owed it to me, not the other way around), they have now sent me to collections. I have tried to contact them repeatedly regarding this issue and have received NO correspondence back. Do not do business with this company. read more

I have been a patient of Dr Bredbeck, Kathy and the Arapahoe Perfect Teeth location for over 20 years. I have a severe dental phobia and the doctor and staff have been so amazing and delicate with me. They are always patient, courteous and kind. They have gone above and beyond to ensure that I am comfortable and prepared for each procedure. I unfortunately came to them with some large fillings that were failing from a previous dentist and we worked out a plan of attack to replace the damaged fillings so that I am not too overwhelmed with the work while still preserving my natural teeth. The pricing of procedures has been very reasonable and they do a great job working with my insurance. I cannot tell you how much I actually enjoy the people at this office and I have continually recommended them. I now live in Broomfield and still drive down to Centennial to see the staff at this location. read more

I arrived at the office at 9:45 a.m. and was immediately welcomed by the receptionist who was very professional and friendly. My appointment was 10:00 a.m. and I was in the "chair" 5 minutes before then. The hygienist was there immediately and also very friendly while she completed her part of the appointment. The dentist then came in and spent minutes doing his part explaining what he was doing. Once again very friendly. I stopped at the desk on the way out and set up my next appointment. I have been going to Dr Bredbeck and Kathy for over 20 years. They have been great. I had work done and was given the approximate cost prior to having the work done ( according to HIPPA). I agreed to the cost and had the work done. Over a year later I received a bill from them for over 5 times what I was quoted and already paid. I contacted them and they said they would get back to me and I did not hear back. I then received another bill so I called and spoke with a gentleman who explained that they had made an error on quoting me the amount I paid. They had looked at a the wrong insurance coverage I had and the cost was much more. I explained I would not have had the work done if I had to come that much out of pocket. He agreed to bring the price down to over double what I originally paid. I agreed to pay them $100 more to help cover their costs but I would not pay the $250 he said I owed. I will not pay the extra. They now have sent my bill to collections for $150 more. I am very disappointed with the administrative office. I will not return. read more

Tried calling with no response and then when I finally talked with someone they just say they'll look into it without returning calls. They are always so kind and we feel like we can trust them. We never feel that they are trying to "sell" us something that we don't need. Our 7 year old son even loves going to see them! read more

Have had two appointments cancelled in two weeks. First was for a 6 month cleaning and was cancelled without any notice, after receiving text confirmation of my appointment that morning at 8:00 for my 11:30 appointment and I show up and they tell me they had to cancel. Rescheduled for the next week and need an appointment to have a cavity filled so schedule that a week out. Well for my 3:00pm appointment I received confirmation at 1:00pm for it and at 2:09pm I receive an email that it is cancelled. Under an hour notice, very unprofessional and they tend to not have very flexible times for appointments when rescheduling. Also I had to leave a voicemail, was not able to speak to a person to discuss my disappointment with the service I have received. read more

In my opinion, Dr Bredbeck is very unprofessional. He also might be around 65 years old, with a very aggressive sense of humor. He does not seem to spend more than 10 minutes per patient, I mean working. He will chat with you. I used to be a patient at this location for almost two years (2017-2018) basically because it was close to my office and because the staff is always very kind. I had an urgency today and came back (my new dentist it's on vacation) and in a second I remembered why I left. read more

My dentist of 30 years retired and I needed to find a new one. Dr. Bredbeck and his staff have been incredible! I had previously had a terrible experience with a dentist in Lakewood and was very hesitant; however, Dr. Bredbeck and everyone at this office were professional and very welcoming. They took care of me when I needed an emergency root canal, worked with my schedule, and I immediately felt like I was with a family of caring professionals. I only wished I had found them years ago.
