I called prior to arriving at Perfect Tan and spoke to the owner, Sean. I asked the cost for a single session spray tan and was quoted $36. Upon arriving today, 5/7/23, Sean was very good at explaining all details/instructions regarding the process in the booth. However... When I was finished and went to check out, I was charged $73 which Sean said included a one time $20 charge for "walking in to the building the first time"!! I was shocked - he could not give me any other explanation for the extra $20 fee other than it was for walking in the building! I didn't mind the additional $9 for the "leg booster" he didn't mention, but this guy is dishonest and a very big rip off --- stay away! I will be filing a complaint regarding his deceptive practices. All he is is a smooth talking salesman who will lie right to your face and rip you off. Shawn the owner did hes sells pitch by talking badly about another salon in the city. At no time did Shawn tell me there was a 3 month minimum. After my first month totally not impressed i didn't want to go back. Thats when the slum lord wavied the contract in my face. So i paid for the second month. Then i go in tonight to have the rudeness of the woman behind the counter tell me i couldn't have any of the 2 beds i signed up for. Save Your money Shawn is only a slum lord who ONLY WANTS YOUR MONEY AND THEN HE'LL REFUSE TO GIVE THE SERVICE YOU PAY FOR. read more

Ventured to Perfect tan because of the spray tan sunless option. So glad I did. I walked away with a natural looking, even tan with no streaking. The owner was very informative and walked me through an entire tutorial himself on how to do the spray tan booth. It was very easy and only takes minutes from undress to redress. I've had both excellent times and one not so great experience at this salon. After my not so great experience I was actually contacted by the owner and felt that he was genuinely concerned and wanted to make things right. Though I have not returned to this salon I would definitely try their services again because I feel as if their customer service has probably improved since that last incident. I have never left perfect tan not happy with the service I received! Staff is extremely helpful when it comes to choosing what lotions/beds/packages/etc would be best for you & your specific needs. I started using them about a year ago to get a quick base tan before a vacation- but came back this year and plan on staying because I'm so happy with it. If you're wanting to go somewhere that will take the time to explain different options (in a way that not just tanning experts understand) instead of somewhere that's just trying to push you to spend the most, this is the place to go! I haven't sunless tanned in many years but I'm in need of a base tan before a trip I'm going in. I found this place on Yelp and saw that they have leg only tanners. I like to keep my arms and upper back covered because of my tattoos so this leg tanner peaked my interest. The place is clean, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The girl explained the beds and types of tan results I should expect from each one. I've been in the diamond stand up bed a few times followed by the leg tanner and my results have been decent. This was my first time ever getting a spray tan and it was the most amazing experience. The young lady that taught me what to do and helped me prepare was the sweetest most patient woman. The facility was super clean, as well. I had called around a few places and this was the only place that actually understood my concerns and answered all of my questions, making me feel like I wasn't being silly, and being very warm. I felt so welcome and comfortable, and it turned out great. I've always been pretty fair and this has boosted my confidence so much. I'm going to be going back every Saturday. read more

I moved here from out of state where I went to the same tanning salon for 20 years. I tried several tanning salons, before I came upon Perfect tan. It is the best tanning salon in Benton County! Sabrina that works there, always remembers my name and is the sweetest young lady, as is all the staff! They have excellent packages and beds to accommodate everyone. It is a clean facility and again, I can't say enough of all the staff, always friendly and upbeat. Hands down the best spot for all your tanning needs! read more

I got a membership to Perfect Tan in June 2015. I was told that I could come in anytime I wanted and cancel my membership and stop being charged. I signed a form in November 2015 and was told they would stop charging my account. It is May 2016 and my account is still being charged. I have not tanned since September 2015. I have called two or three times a month every month. I have only talked to Shawn once and it was over a month ago when he told me that my account had been canceled and I would be receiving a refund within 5 to 10 days. That never happened and he won't return my calls now. VERY horrible customer service and a really bad way to do business. I have seen several reviews from other customers who have had the same experience. Whatever you do, do not give this business your bank information, you will end up having to pay for a stop payment. read more
