Upon arriving today, 5/7/23, Sean was very good at explaining all details/instructions regarding the process in the booth. However... When I was finished and went to check out, I was charged $73 which Sean said included a one time $20 charge for "walking in to the building the first time"!! I was shocked - he could not give me any other explanation for the extra $20 fee other than it was for walking in the building! I didn't mind the additional $9 for the "leg booster" he didn't mention, but this guy is dishonest and a very big rip off --- stay away! I will be filing a complaint regarding his deceptive practices. All he is is a smooth talking salesman who will lie right to your face and rip you off. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. The results of both my filler and Botox were far below what I expected. In my personal opinion, she does not have an eye for cosmetic work, and the injections did not turn out well at all. What made the situation worse is that when I returned hoping for a correction, there was very little concern or effort to address the issues I was experiencing. I left feeling unheard and uncared for. There were no refunds or complimentary options offered to make things right. I paid $2,000 for what ended up being the worst service I've ever received as the botox hit a nerve next to my lip and my lip was tilted for 3 month! This is just my personal experience, but I would advise others to be very mindful about who they book with for cosmetic injectables. After my appointment, I started asking around, and several people shared similar concerns about their experiences. I truly wish I had known beforehand. This was one of the worst salon experiences I have ever had…read more Before my appointment even began, I clearly communicated that I wanted bangs and showed a reference photo. I specifically said that I know bangs are tricky and that if the stylist was not comfortable, I did not want her to do them. She assured me she could. She could not. She cut my bangs far too thick and far too wide--essentially from ear to ear--and then, in what felt like a panic, over-thinned them trying to fix it. The result is uneven, stringy, misaligned sections with different lengths, and hair that now starts much farther back on my head than it ever should. This is not a minor mistake--it fundamentally altered the structure of my haircut in a way that cannot be quickly corrected. To make matters worse, she was late to my appointment, and there was no acknowledgment or remedy offered for that. The lack of professionalism continued when I raised concerns. I was told, "it's not a big deal, it will grow," which is incredibly dismissive considering I have multiple family events and travel coming up, including a professional photoshoot. When I spoke to the owner, the response was, "what do you want me to do about it?" There was no accountability, no attempt to meaningfully fix the situation, and no care for how this impacts me beyond the salon chair. While I was not charged for the haircut itself, I still paid $80 for color--and that is the least of what this has cost me. This experience has cost me confidence, comfort, and peace of mind during important family moments that I cannot redo. This was never about saving $20 on a haircut. I paid far more than that in the aftermath of this experience. Mistakes can happen. But poor skill combined with dismissiveness, lack of accountability, and unprofessional handling is unacceptable. I would not recommend this salon to anyone, especially for precision services like bangs.
