Immediately when I walked in I knew I wasn't going to get helped with kindness. The women who works here seems miserable and offers no insight or knowledge. If your spending 20k plus on surgery you want to invest in good quality garments. Your stage 2 faja should be measured and custom to your body. Sandra is amazing!!! So helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Going in not know what I needed or wanted can be overwhelming but Sandy made the experience so enjoyable and comfortable. All of their products are amazing and made in Columbia. I think the prices were very reasonable and fair for genuine Columbian waist trainers and fajas. Decent store in the Fashion District. Needed some pads to enhance my "rack" and this place had some for a great price. They do charge $1 extra for using credit card. There aren't much selection on lingerie, but the prices are very good. Quality is questionable, but who cares if you are only gonna wear it for 5 seconds before they get ripped off your body anyways. I have to admit I was a little intimidated walking into a place like this because of the fact that I had no idea where to even start! This past year, I had 8 weddings to attend - no joke, 8. Also, I was a bridesmaid in 3 out of 8 of those weddings. This meant two things: 1. I needed new friends. 2. I needed a reliable body shaper that would work with every single dress. I walked into Perfect Shape and found what I needed in literally less than 10 minutes. Josh and his staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. I had no idea where to start but was offered great suggestions that made my decision so easy. They made me feel welcomed and comfortable and guided me through their large selection. The store is also impeccably clean and organized - not something you see often in a lingerie/intimates store. The prices are AMAZING. You won't be spending even close to what you would in any department store. The quality of the shaper I chose far exceeded my expectations. Remember the days when no one had heard of Spanx? I used to think I was more comfortable then, I was also way single then too!! I think even if you have the best body in the world, sometimes you still need shape wear, it's like going out at night without mascara. The best part is that this place actually has ones that are comfortable and don't feel like you've stepped into a medieval torture corset. And the staff are really good, it's a family run business that's been around for years so they really know about this stuff, and they can help you find exactly the right body shaper for your needs, your specific dress for your specific event, or your specific body type. I needed something for an event last year because I had this gorgeous gown that was just a bit too see-through. I couldn't find any kind of slip that worked underneath, so I stopped by Perfect Shape and one of the owners gave me just the right thing, it was like a nude tight minidress and no one could tell I was wearing something under my flowing sleeveless Valentino inspired number, and yet I was covered in case the spotlights revealed a bit too much! I've tried the cheap stuff from Target and it sucks, breaks easily or just doesn't hold up like the ones they have here. And yet they're much more affordable than Spanx which I think is over priced and over hyped. Couldn't recommend it more, you could even grab a few on a trip downtown, then head over to Eggslut at Grand Central Market, pound down an eggburger, and no one would even know because the shaper still keeps you at size zero. The store is well merchandised with a lot of product and they carry a lot of smalls and extra smalls. So great! I didn't catch the gals name but I was in yesterday for a post surgery faja and the gal was so informative and helpful! I told her what I had done and showed her how my binder was causing a crease to my figure. She made no attempt to sell me something expensive, but rather was informative on what faja was the best for my procedure noting that the goal at 2 weeks post op was to keep my incision clean and dry and avoid infection while providing compression. She also gave me the exact size I needed even though I insisted it wouldn't fit. She was right, I'm glad I listened. I ended up walking out with more than one faja and will definitely come back for more as my body heals and progresses. read more

Allot of stores open and close in downtown. You find one love the product go back and its gone :(. But this one is consistent YEAH! The have great prices and options on bras, panties, leggings, tights, and shorts to where underneath short skirts. They specialize in shape wear but my favorite item here are their leggings, pantyhose, and tights. Simply put they are GREAT...love the quality. Today, I shopped this retail store and wrote my review. Usually the statement, "Racism doesn't exist can be dispelled." Well how about, "Customer Service or respecting the almighty dollar?" Today, I shopped this store, Her Perfect Shape and eventually purchased my desired goods. The word "eventually," meant: While in the process of completing my transaction another sales person stepped to the registered and speaking low in Spanish and told, the girl basically..."let me ring her up." Since, I don't speak Spanish it didn't matter nor did I, the I disrespected dollar in the fashion area of Maple/Olympic. I had shopped there before, receiving great service. If there was ever a lack of respect...today was blatant met with the response to my questionable statement, "She was conducting my sale," with "Yeah, I know...(with no eye contact)". They continue speaking speaking Spanish and there is a man purchasing a single item I say, "I am already offended, please take him, he only has one item. Go ahead." At this time, I step clear of the register-irritated, to say the least. Returning the register and a nearly complete sale, I express my feelings to the cashier. "May I needed to start speaking Spanish (or not be black) to have been respected. You don't know what it's like to be treated in this manner repeatedly, in this downtown area. What makes you think, I too am not parked at a meter, and would like to get out as fast as that woman?" That sales girl was rude and clearly she feels no way about it. And although you've apologized, the damage is done." I love this place! I found some killer body shapers there. Now I can wear almost anything and look/feel amazing! I had a few items hiding in the back of my closet because I was afraid I had "muffin top" or the fabrics were too unforgiving.
