There is always brilliant offers on in-store and they have a free Loyalty scheme where you build up points that then turn into vouchers to spend in store!! As their by-line suggests, this store really is 'Heaven for your Home' - I just love it! The candles and fragrances are amazing and really do smell like they say and last for ages! The gift & baby range is gorgeous - great quality and I can always find something that little bit unusual and special. Just looking at the brilliant window displays is inspriation enough! All the staff are so friendly and helpful - I love a bit of good old fashioned service! I have even had a Home Party which was great fun. They also do Private Shopping - a party in store in the evening for just you and your friends - I have booked one for later on in the year to avoid the xmas crowds!! - (now thats what i call shopping!) CANDLES!!! I thought to myself... What sort of shop, or late night garage would be open on a Sunday morning? Cue a google search and I found this wonderful website. Direct Candles. I immediately typed in my order, paid and within 15 minutes there was a large bang on my door. I walked down the stairs in my leopard print dressing gown, unbeknownst as to what was on the other side of the door. As I opened the door, I saw the most incredible sight. A dwarf on the back of a St Bernard with my 35 candles I had previously ordered. Nowhere else would you get such a great service.

It's as if you walk in and magicly will find the item they stock will suit your needs or wants. No seemingly obvious choice of colours. It reminds me a bit of an expensive market, or garage sale. Not the biggest card shop around but easy to pick a suitable card. As well as cards they do sell a selection of gifts - these do tend to vary but normally include ornaments candles and plush toys. They have some nice badges for those milestone birthdays and you can choose from gift bags or wrap to complete your present. The staff here are always happy and enjoy a chat, they will help you find the section you need quickly. If you wish to pay by debit card there is a minimum spend of £5 and they do not accept cheques anymore. A clean, tidy store which is well stocked.

There are not only candles but accessories for candles, or 'houses' for them. i.e you sit the candle (already in a jar) on a saucer like dish, and place the roof on. These are made from crackled glass, in all kinds of colour schemes. It is truly beautiful, all of it. All sorts of sizes too, but I like the small one because you can have more than one in a room. Some of the scents may not be your taste, but you will adore most of them. In addition, the shop sells cushions, mobiles, signs, and other novelty items. I'd recommend you leave a young child elsewhere - it's less scary that way.
