I was picked up by a pedicab at 7:30 at the Bull Bar. I set my timer on my iPhone since i was getting charged by the minute. When i arrived at my destination Bare Asset. I asked how much. My iPhone said 20 minutes which should if cost me $20.00. The pedi driver said $31.00. I showed him my iPhone timer. He said it was incorrect. I paid the $31.00 and tomorrow i will report him to approbate organization. read more

Called and talked to Tate... Was immediately impressed with how friendly he was and how willing he was to meet our requirements. We took a pedicab ride from Louie's Backyard to our hotel on at The Pier House. It was delightful. A great way to see the fun night life of DuVol Street, without having to deal with the crowds on the sidewalk. Really Fun! I feel a bit mixed giving a review on a business I personally only interacted with for a hot second, but got plenty of information on via a very reliable source. After deciding to be touristy and take the obligatory pictures at the Southernmost Point, BF and his parents and I made our way down Duval doing our own pseudo bar hop. At some point, it was figured out that Dad had forgotten his glasses and really did need them-by that time we were a good hour or so into this expedition and a good half mile or so down the strip. When we realized he needed them he thought it might be fun to take one of these guys to 1-be faster to get them, and 2-since he couldn't see well, it might not be a bad idea anyway. What wasn't apparent when they sat down to take a ride on this little rickshaw was that the prices listed on the back of the bike in the passenger car is per person. This wasn't told at the beginning of the ride, and led to a 1 mile round trip being over $60 without a tip. If we had known that, we could have ordered an Uber for about $3 since the ride was less than a mile. I realize that the Uber driver would not be pedaling the car manually, but that's kind of crazy. Also I realize that each additional rider increases the weight and the stress on the pedal-er, but that's the name of the game. Would any of us use the pedi-cabs again? Nope. I'd stumble tipsy to where I need to go, walk, or Uber. This is crazy expensive to go where you need to and not worth the novelty, although it's fun. read more

Same story as other reviewers. Got into one today. Saw sign that stated $1.50 per minute. 1 mile and 13 minutes later we get out and are ready to hand the guy $20 or so. He says it's $30. We ask "why? This sign here says.." he says "that sign is not for you." What the F ?? I call the number to ask what should we do? Is this a common scam the drivers try to pull? The person answering the phone says he will call me back and to just walk away for now. That doesn't feel right either. So we try to give him the $20 and he tells us to forget it, we obviously need the money more than he does. Like that is some sort of insult? Ugh! We just walk away annoyed and lesson learned. I hope you read this before making the mistake we did. read more

Same story with the scam. Our Serbian peddler lied about the rate faked it like he was working to hard to drop a gear to go faster. $30 later We finally got to our destination. Use uber and stay away from theses thief's. read more

BEWARE!!!! We took 2 pedi cabs from the docks to the 800 block of Simonton. The sign on the cab said $10 for the first 10 minutes and $30 for 20 minutes. We left at 3:19 PM and arrived at 3:33 PM , a total of 14 minutes. 2 big Eastern European thugs tried to shake us down for $36 each! We resisted and they became very aggressive with us. I'm 65 and settled at $26. My 70 year old friend and his wife paid $30. I should have called the police. The owner better fire these guys! read more

MEGA RIP OFF!! Do not use. Said they would charge by the minute. They lied. A 15 minute was charged as a 30 minute ride. For a 1.5 mile ride it was 33 dollars! A cab would have been 8 bucks. When we told them it wasn't 30 minutes the Russian driver was rude and argued with us. We reluctantly paid it and told him we were not tipping. When we got home we saw an additional charge not as a tip but as a "commission". Complete fraud. They used square to charge us. Do not use any of these pedicab services in the keys. These guys are all con artists who will over charge you knowing they will never see u again. I urge everyone who has Ben ripped off by these crooks to write the chamber of commerce to see if they act. read more

Would give them a negative rating if I could. Do not get into one of these pedicabs unless you agree on price. A fair assumption would be that a trip from southernmost beach to Mallory square be about $15. $30 and a missed sunset later due to the bike not having functioning higher gears I was pissed and without recourse.
