First, this place operates like a Swiss airport--meticulously clean, always on time, and flawlessly…read moreefficient at every step of the process. During busy times, there's even someone in the parking lot radioing ahead to the counter to announce your dog's arrival and prepare the team to receive them. They greet your furry friend with open arms and come equipped with a grooming history card to check if you'd like any changes. But honestly, why would you? These experts know better than I do about all aspects of this process, and for that, I am truly grateful. When it's time for pickup, a friendly call informs you that your dog is ready, returned to you gleaming and gorgeous, accompanied by a debriefing of any concerns. They are my first-line defenders when it comes to Saydee's overall health, including her body, teeth, fur, and ears. Appointments can be challenging to secure because they are that good, which is why I book mine for the entire year. Monthly visits work best for me, and I gladly drive 35-45 minutes each way because I wouldn't trust anyone else with this task. A word of caution regarding any unfavorable reviews: They are poppycock. Professionalism isn't always warm and fuzzy and f you would rather hear flattering words while dealing with sloppy grooming, tardiness, and inconsistency, go somewhere else. But if you're looking for true professionals who know what they are doing and execute it perfectly, bring your fur baby here!

This is one of the best run, caring and compassionate businesses in the Capital District. Pet Spas…read morewas the only place that I would take my dog to for services. I took my maltese here for boarding and grooming for almost 16 years (my dog just passed). In this time the cost for a grooming only went up three dollars and some change! I was always happy with his cut and reasonable time it took for him to be groomed. Amy used to groom him, she was the best. My dog always came out with a big smile on his face. The staff are ALL beyond kind and considerate towards my dog and I. I boarded him at least once or twice a year (for 10 days) in the suites with the webcams. You must book early for these on holidays. I loved checking in on him and watching him play in the doggie day care (while I missed him on vacation). The staff are attentive to any medications and/or dietary needs, and will call you if there are any major problems while boarded. This business is so great that there is a strong following of people who keep it really busy, so plan ahead for a grooming and boarding. It will be worth it. I totally recommend Pet Spas and Suites. They are so personable and caring. This isn't run like a corporate pet store where you never see the same people again the next time you come in, the crates are half the size at the corporate chain pet store. I went once and they were rude. I had a friend whom the corp. chain didn't take notes on her dog who had a hip problem (nor did they listen to the owners) and the dog ended up getting hurt- requiring surgery- costing thousands of dollars and pain and suffering to her dog. That would never happen at Pet Spa. It will be sometime before I get another pup but I know where I'll be taking him/her when I do. I will miss the Pet Spa & Suites family until then. Thank you for all the love you gave my dog Caesar and the beautiful things you did to honor his life after he passed. They meant the world to me.

The groomer did not even greet me when I came or when I arrived to pick him up. I'm very disappointed honestly.
