I normally don't give low ratings, but my experience at Perfect Nails was very disappointing and I will not be returning (I would actually give this place a 2 star rating, had it not been for how kind the daughter working front desk was). My usual place said they did not have availability when I wanted to go in so I thought I'd try Perfect Nails out again after not going there for YEARS. 1) I called beforehand and asked if they could see me right away, which the woman said would be possible. However when I came in, I was told to sit and ended up waiting close to 30 min before being seen. Had I known I would have to wait that long, I would have just gone to my usual nail salon. 2) The person doing my nails lacked serious attention to detail. I had to keep asking her to re-file my nails because some were visibly longer than others. I rarely nitpick at nail salons, but it was that noticeable that I had to keep saying something. She also kept getting distracted while using the drimmel and took out whole chunks of the dip powder, causing my nails to look bumpy. 3) The woman also poured alcohol on one of the drimmel tips in front of me, which made me think that she did not sanitize any of her tools prior to seeing me. I didn't realize until it was too late what she was doing because she did it under the table, and she had already used other tools on my hands at that point. 4) The overall atmosphere was incredibly chaotic - and not just from there being several clients in the salon. The owner's daughter came in to help with front desk and she kept messing with the music. Additionally the owner kept yelling at her to do things. There was just so much noise and disruption going on that I could not fully enjoy my visit. I was treating myself after a long week of work, and I just left this salon feeling more stressed than before. I hate giving small businesses poor reviews, but I really did not enjoy my time here and would not recommend to anyone. read more

So I don't normally go out of my way to make bad reviews but this experience warranted one. I took my daughter there to get her nails done for her birthday and as part of the gift I was going to allow her to get some designs. Going in she was so excited as I don't do this often and it was a disaster. Made a 9:30 appt... we sat until 10:00.. the nail tech which I'm guessing is the owner; So we got to the station and she she constantly was trying to talk my daughter out of what she wanted; the drill dug and ripped cuticles, started bleeding, the nails were rough and some smooth... my daughter even politely said she was fine with the nails as is so that the torture would stop. Her fingers are throbbing. So unprofessional and very disappointing. I'm hoping she doesn't get infections and I do not suggest going there. read more

This salon is going to be my new go to!!! I just moved into the area and had no idea where to go and this place is right across from where I grocery shop (Sprouts) and decided to try it out. MAN OH MAN AM I GLAD I DID!!! Helen took her time and made sure that I loved my nails. She did an awesome job with the snap and sanded down my nails very evenly. They were very clean and took extra steps to make sure that their customers felt safe with COVID. 10/10 recommend!!! read more

This used to be my favorite salon. I gave it 2 stars because the nails are undeniably beautiful. But over my last three visits I've had two different nail techs (a man and either the owner or manager) and both have taken chunks out of my skin. This last time, with the lady, she used the powder to stop the bleeding 4 times. Previously with the male tech he's also taken chunks out of the skin under my nail that have bled where it can't be seen from above. They asked for feedback to make it better, but if saying "ouch, that hurts" and having to have clotting powder out on it isn't enough of a sign for you I don't know what else to do. And I get Nexgen, which means there are alcohol coats and it felt like all my fingers were on fire, regardless of if it was the drill, emery board or buffer. I quit. The only next time I have is at a new place. End of story. read more

I love this nail salon. They can usually get me in pretty quickly and everyone is so nice. I do the dip manicures and it lasts a long time. My mom goes here as well and loves it. I won't be going anywhere else. read more

My best friend and I came in for our first pedicure since February. We were so excited and were immediately greeted super kindly. We got our toes done and my friend wanted to add acrylic since her big toe was slightly cracked. The person was still in training & didn't do the best job but before we even said anything she asked for help and immediately fixed the issue. Ive honestly never had such a great experience getting my nails done. I'm use to nail technicians giving me attitude and feeling like a burden for expressing myself but this nail salon made us feel SO understood and welcomed. Regardless of how our nails look, which they look great now, I would've still left this great review. 100% recommend this salon! I can't rave enough about this place. The owner is SO nice and she runs a great salon. The place is cute, well taken care of, and clean. They offer a large variety of services. Every time I go here everyone goes out of their way to make you feel pampered. All of the employees do an excellent job and take their time. When they are slow and if I get a pedicure they give me a very thorough massage even though I'm getting a basic pedicure and they don't charge for it. I get the dip nails and it always looks good. I've never had them try to charge me for more and I feel like for the area, the prices are good! I've gone after work during the week and during the day on the weekends and I think I've only had to wait once. This is my go to place since I moved to Coppell, so for the last 9 months. Try it out! Highly disappointed with this nail salon. I paid $38 dollars for the Nexgen/dip nails and they did not even look good. They looked like my nails had grown out for 2 weeks and needed a fill. When I went back to have them fix it they told me that's how the dip is supposed to look. Hell no it's not. I would NOT recommend going to this nail salon. It's a rip off and not worth your money. I couldn't even get a refund but they told me I can pay another $38 for them to do them again. So they wanted me to be out $76 in 2 days for nails. Pathetic!!! read more

Terrible nails!!!! I wanted a pedicure and Nexgen/dip nails, they were doim the pedicure and another Lady started doing my Nails very very horrible and with a rude attitude, so I told her Stop!.. I don't like it, so she told me ok come and sit down to the nail table... and was worst so I told her - I need someone else to do it right, -( she got mad and hurt me under my Nail with the tool,) so the owner came and promess to finish everything right..... and after 1 hour they were so bad full of bubbles so a third lady came and promess to fix them and after 45 min they were just ok....after 3.5 hours I was ready to pay ( expecting discount for this horrible person and experience.... and nothing.... 75 dollars total ... so I had it a coupon for 15% and it seems to be more than enough to them for me to be happy.... will never come back. read more

Avoid this place at all cost. Let me walk you through my experience: walked in with two coworkers, the lady takes forever to come to the front and then with a straight and irritated face said "you want something..?" Seriously?!?! Ok strike one. Then, since the young ladies seemed to still want to stay, against my better judgement I progressed on. She drops this book and says "pick a color". I pick two fairly easy designs and get immediately dismissed and rejected and she follows up with "...only color...". At that point, I WAS DONE!!! We stayed because the others I was with, though visibly uncomfortable, had already begun to have their nails touched by the chick and her counterpart had already begun....as I'm typing this, I'm assuming the manager came in and then after she asked to see the picture (when I told her I wasn't getting anything since the First Lady said they couldn't do either of the designs I had picked and I'll go elsewhere) said it CAN be done if I was willing to give the time. I applaud her she really tried and wanted to provide the service. But I just can't spend my money where I felt I clearly was being blown of lad or an inconvenienced. Go elsewhere if you can. At least you won't have to wait for the manager to come in and "actually help" you smh. read more

i am so beyond upset with this place at this point and i never want to come back. i used to like this place before they got a new owner. now i am really annoyed and disappointed with its service. there are a good two people working on nails and they are not enough to work on the amount of people that are in the place. i went there a month ago to get a simple dip and i was there for four hours. the new owner is RUDE and they do not have enough staff. i went today to give it another chance and to get my nails taken off which shouldn't take longer than an hour by any means..i was there for two hours and the lady (which was the owner btw) literally peeled off my nails hurting me..i mean if i wanted to peel them off i would've simply done it myself. read more
