However, I taken a business card that was available on the counter and decided to call the number. Someone did answer. I inquired about the pricing and type of massages available, and then I booked a massage for a few days later. I had no further issue when I arrived for my appointment. My therapist was flexible about how the service, because I wasn't sure what type of massage I needed, but settled on deep tissue for the pressure. The massage also included hot stones. I appreciated my masseuse (Lin) asking what services I would like with my massage. Overall, it was very relaxing and therapeutic. I felt like I was on a cloud when I left. So, in the future I will call to book my appointments as that seems the best way to guarantee service.

She told her in another language what was hurting me... asked me if I wanted firm or medium - I chose medium touch. I stripped down to my undies (and really don't be shy... these ladies have seen worse :O) ) and April proceeded to give me the most brutal pleasure filled massage I've ever had. She practically moon-walked on my back and used her toes to really do acupressure wherever there were sore spots on my back. She used her elbows to rub the soles of my feet and again hit all the pressure points. April got down and dirty on my shoulders and neck, digging in deep (seemed she went down to the meat on my bones)... I was so sore afterwards, but five hours later, can twist and turn like a 19 year old. I feel GREAT! This place is truly a no frills massage place. This is not a spa and it's in a strip mall, but don't let that fool you. These ladies mean business and will have you feeling like you're floating on air (after they beat the kinks out of you). I didn't mind waiting in the lobby as they were busy with other clients. After waiting about 10 min, a water bucket is brought into the lobby for me to put my feet in. I thought it was odd, but I've never been here and didn't know how they operate. The masseuse came out and did my massage in the lobby. It was a nice massage. No complaints there. The masseuse finished, and a woman who said she didn't have an appointment walked in. The woman was promptly told to go to room 2. I didn't think anything of it, as someone left while I was getting the massage. I asked where the restroom was, and I was quickly told I couldn't use the bathroom until I paid. Immediately taken aback, I said it wouldn't take me long to use the restroom as I had to come back through the lobby to leave. She said, "No pay first! We have customers waiting." I'm sure she realized I was visibly angry and tried to make small talk, asking how far along I was, etc. I paid, and she offered me water and asked for a tip. I declined and left to use the restroom at a neighboring business. I will never return to this establishment, and I will make sure to inform anyone coming here moving here or coming to TDY to Maxwell AFB to stay away from this place.

I booked an 11 AM massage and a 12 PM microderm facial. The moment I laid down for my massage, I noticed the headrest was dirty--it looked like someone with a full face of makeup had been there before me. I told the masseuse, and she replaced it, but the fact that it was dirty in the first place was unacceptable, especially since my bare face was supposed to go there. On top of that, my massage ended 10 minutes early. I figured that since it ended early, my facial would start on time at 12 PM--wrong. I waited until 12:15 before finally losing patience. I got dressed, went to ask what was going on, and only then did they tell me: 1. The esthetician was still with her last client, cutting into my time. 2. The microderm machine was broken, and I could only get a regular facial or a chemical peel. So why did no one tell me this at check-in? Why didn't they tell me after my massage instead of letting me sit there for 30 minutes with no communication? I asked what they were going to do to make up for the inconvenience, and Rochelle (assistant manager & esthetician) told me she could remove the facial from my bill. Well... duh? You had to remove it anyway because I never got the service. When I pointed that out, she then offered an upgrade on my next visit. Ma'am, there will be no next visit. What can you do for me today?
