I don't live in Montgomery... I live in LA, but was visiting and needed a massage badly because my…read moreback was giving me so much pain. Found NHA&MT on google and since they were the only massage place open at 6pm on Sat gave them a call... they were very pleasant on the phone. Got to this strip mall, went in & there was Nancy the manager, who was all smiles and laughter. She took me in a room and asked me where I hurt, then proceeded to get another lady, April in the room. She told her in another language what was hurting me... asked me if I wanted firm or medium - I chose medium touch. I stripped down to my undies (and really don't be shy... these ladies have seen worse :O) ) and April proceeded to give me the most brutal pleasure filled massage I've ever had. She practically moon-walked on my back and used her toes to really do acupressure wherever there were sore spots on my back. She used her elbows to rub the soles of my feet and again hit all the pressure points. April got down and dirty on my shoulders and neck, digging in deep (seemed she went down to the meat on my bones)... I was so sore afterwards, but five hours later, can twist and turn like a 19 year old. I feel GREAT! This place is truly a no frills massage place. This is not a spa and it's in a strip mall, but don't let that fool you. These ladies mean business and will have you feeling like you're floating on air (after they beat the kinks out of you). Oh how I hope I can find an equivalent place in Los Angeles. $2 surcharge if you use your credit card and they'd like the tip in cash. April was so good, I had to give her a $20 NHA&MT will have you never going back to an expensive hotel massage. I highly recommend. Tell them the Lady from the tv show "The View" recommended you

All of the Massage Envy's that I've been to have very similar decor. The front is bright and…read moreclinical, but as soon as you are signed in they take you to a waiting room which is very nice and relaxing (at Eastchase). I got lucky when I first started going here and was given Jennifer for my therapist. She is one of the best that I've ever had. It took me several months at the last Massage Envy I went to in order to find a therapist that I liked, so I feel very fortunate to have Jennifer for my therapist and I highly recommend her. Additionally, this particular store isn't so pushy on selling you products like the last location that I frequented and I appreciate that. The biggest thing I don't like about Massage Envy is that their hour massage is really only 50 minutes. If you read their policy you will see that each appointment has 10 minutes build in for you and the therapist to get ready and clean up. As far as the tipping goes, the receptionist does ask (in a normal voice) if you would like to leave a tip. I always hand my tip directly to the therapist prior to going out front and that is what I tell them when they ask about the tip. There is no need to get embarrassed about it as some folks have written.

Worst experience ever! If you're looking to unwind and relax, do NOT come here. Not only did they…read moreruin my experience, but they also ruined my entire day. I booked an 11 AM massage and a 12 PM microderm facial. The moment I laid down for my massage, I noticed the headrest was dirty--it looked like someone with a full face of makeup had been there before me. I told the masseuse, and she replaced it, but the fact that it was dirty in the first place was unacceptable, especially since my bare face was supposed to go there. On top of that, my massage ended 10 minutes early. I figured that since it ended early, my facial would start on time at 12 PM--wrong. I waited until 12:15 before finally losing patience. I got dressed, went to ask what was going on, and only then did they tell me: 1. The esthetician was still with her last client, cutting into my time. 2. The microderm machine was broken, and I could only get a regular facial or a chemical peel. So why did no one tell me this at check-in? Why didn't they tell me after my massage instead of letting me sit there for 30 minutes with no communication? I asked what they were going to do to make up for the inconvenience, and Rochelle (assistant manager & esthetician) told me she could remove the facial from my bill. Well... duh? You had to remove it anyway because I never got the service. When I pointed that out, she then offered an upgrade on my next visit. Ma'am, there will be no next visit. What can you do for me today? At that point, I was over it. On top of everything else, she kept blaming everyone else--even pulled me aside to blame the receptionist, when they had already admitted they only found out about the machine issue minutes before. Fine. Whatever. Let me just pay and leave, right? Wrong. Now the tap-to-pay machine was down, and that was my only form of payment. I told them people should be warned about things like this beforehand. Rochelle said the receptionist was supposed to put a card on file when I booked, but she didn't--so how exactly was I supposed to pay? Rochelle told me I could call in my card info later when I got access to it, which was fine with me. Even though I hated my experience, I assured them I'd still call and pay. But not even 20 minutes after I left, they started blowing up my phone for payment. Essentially harassing me. Y'all didn't even give me time to leave Eastchase, let alone get home. In less than an hour, I got multiple calls. And then, the part that really got me... They threatened to call the police on me. Yes, the police. All this, not even an hour after I left. So not only did they ruin my experience, but they went out of their way to ruin the rest of my day too. I'm still wondering was was expected of me. Was I suppose to neglect everything else I had to do? Was I supposed to teleport home? Completely unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this place to my dog
