In short
This is a stretch review, but they clearly offer a ton of other fitness and wellness services. You might not realize it's here when you fly by on 19th, but it's a great facility.
In long
Driving up and down 19th is often a matter of getting through as quickly as you can so you can get somewhere else. Traffic here is pretty lousy any time of day. But PF is a nice little oasis of quiet where you can forget the hustle and bustle.
It's clean and bright and airy inside. Plenty of parking outside. They offer pilates, stretching, and it looks like maybe a few other modalities to keep yourself limber and aligned.
You walk in to a space that would fit well in the nice homes that sit back in the trees around here. Simple but attractive flooring, lighting, and other finishes, with some decor to keep it feeling more homey and less like a random gym--despite there being lots of fitness equipment in some of the rooms.
We saw Elaina for a session of whole-body tandem stretching. My lovely bride had a massive stroke last year, and is always battling stiff joints, tight muscles, atrophy, and so on as a result of the immobility that comes after a big stroke.
Elaina is super highly qualified to handle even complex underlying medical conditions like this. She has the quiet energy and sunny personality of an awesome youth sports coach, but she's not just getting the wee ones loosened up to go play t-ball. She's really solving medical issues for her clients, at least in my wife's case. And she's doing it with genuine warmth and friendliness.
After a little over an hour on a comfortable table in a private room in back, all my wife's joints and limbs felt better for almost the entire day. That's a rare treat for her lately. She still felt better than she had, even once a few aches and pains inevitably crept back in.
You can come in here for pilates and other regular classes, and you might be surprised at the expert help you can get at PF. Highly recommend. read more
