I've had discectomy surgery, 18 mos of PT, massage and stretching and still pop NSAIDs almost every day to get to sleep and maintain my sanity. The constant pain impacts my ability to sit for long periods of time and affects my mood and limits activities. As a last resort and after a friend recommended me to try to Satya, I did. After the first group class, I decided yoga probably wasn't for me and then Amanda introduced me to her yoga stretch 1:1 session. So far, this has been the only thing that has had a more lasting impact without traditional medical intervention. The stretches activate the small, weak and frozen muscles in the lower back, pelvis, hips and buttocks that are not actively used and stretched in traditional stretching and PT strengthening. I've had a few days here and there where my pain has dropped to 1-2 / 10. This is only after 4 weeks, so I'm going to keep going to see if I can get off the pain killers altogether and to a less painful existence. Thank you, Amanda!

From the moment I called the studio and asked if they would be willing to help me make this surprise special for them (given that I live in the UK and wanted to do something for them all the way in Colorado Springs!) the staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making the experience special. They made a custom wedding sign, wished them a happy wedding during class, played a special song, and even had flowers ready--every little detail was thoughtful and personal. My sister and her partner had never tried hot yoga before, and by the end, they were glowing, exhilarated, and could not stop raving about it. They can't wait to be married and come back regularly! The instructors were expert, professional, and so kind, creating a perfect balance of challenge and encouragement. The whole experience felt celebratory, joyful, and incredibly memorable. The Diego studio is so beautiful and my favorite place to practice since is has a gorgeous Mountain View. I've tried vinyasa, power vinyasa, hot yoga, warm yoga, yin yoga and yoga +. I really enjoy all of the classes! I think power vinyasa is one of my favorite because it's such a great workout and I love how spiritual yoga + is. Cambio allows you to pay on a sliding scale so it makes it really accessible to do yoga. You can even rent a mat for $1. This month I took advantage of the $49/month unlimited and it was a great decision.

I won't use it but it didn't cost anymore which is a nice touch for new students if you are local. I'm a former teacher and this was a perfect class for me this afternoon- challenging and forgiving.
