This location has moved to 1295 N. Petaluma Blvd, which is too bad, because it should not be in business all together. I should have read the reviews before going, because I almost walked out 5 different times in an hour. I can't remember the guys name, but he should be fired. He should find a completely different profession, because he was DISGUSTING. So disgusting, that I was baffled he even was allowed to do massages. My appointment was at 11am, he showed up at 10:55, sweat dripping down his face and arms. He was not put together at all. My "hot stone massage" consisted of stones so incredibly hot, they BURNED me. I have a little scar on my back. My "hot stone massage" was a regular (shitty) massage with me laying uncomfortably on these fire rocks, when I mentioned that they were too hot, he just rearranged them, HELLO! that does not help with the heat, it just burns me in more places. The dude would NOT STOP TALKING! I work with kids, I made it very clear that the massage was a place for me to enjoy peace and quiet. He wouldn't shut up, and he smelled liked CIGARETTES! WTF?! Get your dirty breath out of my face. He was disgusting. I can't believe how gross he was, and the fact that he wouldn't stop talking, the dude told me his whole life story and other unnecessary information. I asked him to stop talking in the nicest way, but he didn't. Then, while we are this hot room, he is sweating profusely, he had a large bottle of cold water, which he took breaks to drink, but then he would put his cold wet hands (from the bottle's condensation) back on me. I can't believe how unprofessional he was. I hated every minute of it. It took all my might not to walk out, to not yell at him. Though, I wish I had, so that he would know how disgusting he is. I took the information sheet with my information on it. I do not want those email reminders from this place. This place should be shut down, and licenses revoked. He kept making comments about how he could tell his massage was loosening my muscles, what he didn't know was that I was clinching my jaw the whole time. He said, "your body likes this, and probably wants more, if you want to schedule another appointment" SERIOUSLY!? NO WAY. So I responded: "I was hoping for a hot stone massage, not a massage with hot stones burning me." "Oh, do you want me to use the stones to massage your back?" "YES!" Oh my, I can't believe this guy. He then responds about how the rocks are too hot to handle because he forgot to take them out of the crockpot, so they were scalding. No shit, look at my back!! Oh! and the first thing he said to me was, "there are no signs, but we accept gratuity" -- shouldn't you wait till the end and let me decide that?! I have been seeing Sue for several years. When I don't see her for awhile, I miss her. I like her specially made oils that she uses on me depending on my need. I like the oil/lotion she uses, it's calming when I smell it again. I love that Sue is psychic and shares her messages with me and often when she doesn't bring something up, I'll ask her about a situation. She is usually right on without my having shared any information. I love that she does deep tissue and can go as deep as I need her to and doesn't charge me extra for that. She is very strong and really gets into places that need getting into. I don't mind the stretching for the most part. It helps me loosen up those dog gone hips! I love my 90 minutes with Sue and enjoy coming back to her every month and sometimes 2x per month. The music has always been great. The atmosphere is great. The location is convenient with plenty of parking. Sue is very sweet and loves what she does. The hot stones are an added bonus with heat to help loosen up the tight muscles and then the softness of the rocks and Sue's pressure make for a nice massage on the neck and shoulders. read more

In reviewing some of the negative reviews below I see that they are VERY old and not all about Sue so I wanted to give an updated review of her services and environment. First off, she's moved and has a lovely room in a hair salon on Bodega Avenue so I felt the environment was great. Secondly, each time I've received a massage from her she was on time, the room was prepared, and she offered very professional services. The hot stones are not only rested on me, but used as part of the treatment to warmly work my muscles. I personally like them and I love the oils that she works with. Unprofessional. Complete amateur hour. Bought a hot stone massage on Groupon. Got to the appointment and the masseuse is waiting in the hallway and her 10 year old son is there (random). We enter the massage room and about two minutes in she exits to go talk to her son. She fumbled around with her Ipod several time (10) to adjust the volume, song selection, etc...The song selection was far from relaxing and ranged from 60's rock to gospel. Then again she left the room about 40 minutes into the massage as her son was kicking the wall of the room we were in. I'm all for supporting a single mom, but having a child that disrupts the massage is unacceptable. Very unprofessional, seemed to not have her s**t together at all. Would not recommend. Unfortunately my wife bought the same massage on Groupon...might be a good white elephant gift for Christmas. read more

If you want a luxurious, calming experience, don't go here. The building is delapidated. It made me not want to enter. I had difficulty finding where they were located in the building as most of it seemed empty. Finally I found the place. The room for massages looked just as poor as the exterior of the building. They tried to get some music going, but that didn't work. During the massage I had to listen to conversations from adjoining rooms. Once, a person came into the room and whispered something to the massuse who was working on me. How unprofessional is that???Not exactly relaxing not knowing who is in the room with you. We went to the new location for a hot stone massage. They did not use the stones, the girls were really nice but we did not see any sort of certification for massage therapy anywhere. The massage did not seem professional so I doubt that they actually were certified. It was supposed to be 70 minutes, and only lasted 50. She went to the address and there were 2 door ssaying Perfect Day Massage and one was empty and the other had a sign saying there was a massage in progress. She waited over a half hour and made phone calls to two seperate phone numbers but never reached anyone. How unprofessional! I am soooo sorry I wasted my money on this. What a joke. I had a groupon, my BF didn't, unfortunately. The entire thing was probably the worst massage experience I've ever had. We had a 10:00 appointment. We got list so only showed up about 5 minutes early, but they drove up just as we did. There was no heat on, and she didn't bother to turn it on until I asked her to stop the massage to turn it on. She claims to be a psychic... Yet she couldn't sense that we were both FREEZING cold. The hot stones were a joke. Who just lays you on them? Moreover, they didn't have a card machine, yet also didn't have any change for a $20. My therapist was ok, if anything just lacking confidence. But the owner/psychic?! She made my boyfriend very uncomfortable. Hands down the weirdest massage experience I have had. I got a Groupon and made an appointment. I got there and she was very unprepared. She had a bunch of unknown items laying on the table that she had to take off before I was able to get on the table. The blankets looked like old rags and like 15 different colors. I finally started the massage and what I thought was supposed to be a hot stone ended up being a deep tissue. I did not figure this out till she started digging her elbows in me as hard as she could. Then to top it off, she started stretching me without asking, had my legs in the air, knees bent in different directions, arms and neck all different directions. She stated that it made her job easier, Uhhhhhh okay..... I didnt offer up any conversation, she just kept talking my ear off about a lot of inappropriate things that I did not want to hear. I have been going to Perfect Day Massage for years and every time have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Sue. I feel great when I leave and she always asks me how much pressure I want and is very accommodating to any areas that need special attention. All these reviews are pretty much correct. Weird technique/performance of massage, did not go over with me what my needs are or what I was looking for out of the massage, didn't look over the form I filled out before performing the massage, unprofessional (she brought her dog...what if I was allergic?) she called twice to push back the massage by 15 minuets and then was late on top of the push backs, the first time I called to get a appointment I never got a phone call back.
