I've never really been a fan of the Perfect Brows franchise, but I was in the area and needed to get my eyebrows threaded. The positives are this place is spacious and clean! However I was unhappy with the results of my threading. One eyebrow ended up shorter than the other. The lady also made them really thin. Honestly, major shoutout to the girl who did my eyebrows because I haven't been able to hysterically cry like this in a minute. I can't tell if she was taking out her attitude on my face, intoxicated, or simply bad at threading; regardless, I should not be paying for a botched job. I looked in the mirror after that wretched appointment and I see a sperm eyebrow on the left side of my face--starting past my pupil--and I see an upside down crescent on the right. The latter reaches towards the left like a unibrow, almost making up for the lost hairs that were removed in the creation of the sperm brow. I have NEVER felt more hideous. DO NOT!!!!!!!!!!! get your eyebrows done here unless you want an easy way to break down and hate yourself. I have frequented twice now for different services and have no complaints. This is a one person operation and the lady that staffs the place has so far been thorough and friendly while offering her services. She will ask if you would like other services but it didn't come across as pushy so it was fine by me. Overall, the facility is clean and well maintained although fairly new. Hygienic practices were standard and she used hand sanitizer in between services for the same client. I would definitely frequent again to use my frequent user card but dont tell my regular threading place about this. I would recommend. read more

Customer service is definitely not a factor here. The store closes at 8p; however, they apparently close at their discretion whenever they want. It was 6p when I arrived to get my brows done. Thru the window, I could see the worker at the chair helping a customer, and 1 waiting in the lobby. I go to walk in, and the door is locked. I'm standing at the door puzzled. The lady doesn't even look up, and yells closed. How rude; first of all, it's 6 you close at 8.. why are the doors locked, and you saying you closed? I leave. I send an email inquiring about the service & level of customer service. Do you think I got a response? I wouldn't recommend this location or this business. First impressions are everything. I got a Brazilian wax from a group on special . They honored the price at the place and all I had to pay was taxes in cash once I got there . I decided to get the sugar wax since I've never tried I usually go to European wax center and they use hard wax but I didn't have European money this time so I tried out this place lol . I must say using the sugar wax was an experience lol it hurt a little more to me but only because I'm not used to the liquid . The girl did a very good job and got all the hair up but she did have to go over the same spot multiple times which was painful and led me to be be a little swollen after ( that something else that never happens since I've been getting waxing so long ) so that's I'm giving them 4 stars . Other than that the place was clean , the girls were friendly and I seen them sanitizing the bed and area multiple times in my 20 mins spent there . PerfectBrows NYC on 370 Lenox is an extremely unprofessional place of business. I purchased a Groupon on 7/8 for a Brazilian blue hard wax and underarm combo and called yesterday on 7/9 to come in for appointment for the same day. I was told I can come in whenever and that next time, they would honor the Groupon price if I paid in cash. I agreed and was happy to do so because I let them know I would bring extra tip in cash because I'm always a generous tipper. It took me two hours to arrive (event nearby) only to be told "you should come back tomorrow." I showed the time I spoke to someone and I asked who did I speak to that told me to come today - no one wanted to admit to it and no one even offered an apology!! And the East Asian lady told me to get a refund. That's how business is done? I was waiting about 20 min for someone to pick me up and only then after getting ready to go, did they ask if I still wanted to get a wax - why would I want to give any of you money when I was treated so rudely. I arrived with a smile and good attitude only to be turned away AND it wasn't even busy. I bought a Groupon to try out Perfect Brows since it was my first time there and planned to get a few more services if it went well and if time allowed, which it did because again - IT WAS NOT BUSY. I've already reached out to Groupon for a refund and let them know as well what an unprofessional location this is. I just walked into this business 5 minutes ago. The woman was sitting in the corner. Her name is something like Classy. She kept using her phone and would not look at me. Do not go here! They are Not professionals!! I went to Perfect Brows on Sunday , May 16th, 2021 in Harlem at 353 West 125th Street. I walked in and the place was practically empty which I found a good thing since eyebrow places are always packed especially on weekends. The lady told me to have a seat and I explained that an other eyebrow place messed up my brows by making the left square and the right round so they looked uneven. The lady said she saw that I had more hair on the top curve of my right brow and that was the issue. She made it sound like she knew what to do to correct the issue and make them even. I told her to clean my brows and figured she would take hair off the top curve of my right brow to make it even with my left brow and then go around the brows to clean then up. After the lady did the job, and mind you, it was painful. I look in the mirror and see she took too much off my eyebrows!!! They were horrible!!! I told her look what you did and she then said she did nothing wrong and had 6 years experience in threading. Was she crazy!!!! Then I asked her to look at what she did again and she flipped it on me saying "you said they were not even when you came in" Um... you're the professional!!! If you know to clean around the brows and that the curve on my right brow did not match my left brow, why would she just not take off the excess hair from the top right brow to match my left? Why would she just continue to thread and take so much off of both brows??? Her co-worker came to look at the mess she made on my face and of course agreed that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the botched threading job she did. Anything to get paid I see. I paid and did not have to pay. I was about to call the cops on her for such a horrible job. Unfortunately, I paid and told her I will leave bad reviews on Yelp and Google. I always come here for my eyebrow threading and wax but today I went for my regular one month check up I call it where I got wax but was offered blue hard wax no strips involved and I loved the experience it did not hurt much just the lips part I got the Brazilian and when she got to the booty and I had my legs up I was for certain I was going to hurt but I didn't and I was happy it wasn't like the chocolate where u feel like they are ripping ur skin off she didn't have to go over the same spot multiple times I'm so happy my pum pum looks nice and the lady that did my eyebrows put a nice natural tint on them and they look wonderful. This was the worst lash experience I have had. I booked an appointment and we started 15 min after my appointment. I am a simple person when it comes to lashes. I like natural and not long. I was rushed when I inquired the length and i was told the lash did not come in a length. I reiterated that I wanted natural. I asked for natural which was 40 dollars. When i got up, my lashes were stuck together, they were all one length and the tech kept saying " they look good". I could fee them and they just did not look natural. I asked her to fix them or take them off but she said it would be hard. She fixed the corner that was clearly hanging but I am headed home to take them off. they are uncomfortable and I am utterly dissatisfied. They charged me 50 dollars. Horrible brow job. The tech made my brows extremely thin and very uneven. They look embarrassing. I do not recommend this place at all.

BEWARE: Technicians do not wash hands prior to working on clients. Their poor hygienic practices can be a major risk for spread of infections. Perfect Brows NYS is located in my neighborhood. On the outer appearance, it appears clean and organized. However, the staff do not practice hand washing and clean technique, nor do they take measures to prevent infection between clients. Additionally, they are extremely rude and unwelcoming. Before I begin, keep in mind, the establishment is located in a mainly black community and this should hint what type of service is rendered. We all know that a majority of the time, black communities do not receive the best/safest services. Looking at the appearance of the vicinity, I was hoping to feel welcomed, valued and appreciated, but instead was met with careless practices and rude, hostile technicians. The incident started when one of the technicians who was sitting off to the back acknowledged me and asked what I needed. She did not smile, nor greet me, nor did she say "how can I help you." Instead she acknowledged me by nodding her head as to say " what do you need." I told her that I wanted my eyebrows done and she immediately stood up, picked up her mask and approached me. She donned her mask, and attempted to initiate the service, but before she touched me, I kindly asked her to wash her hands, because I witnessed that she was playing with her phone when I walked in. Not to mention, she touched her mask and other items and then attempted to touch my face. After I asked her to wash her hands, she rudely spun around and walked to the restroom with a major attitude. The door was kept open, so I saw exactly what she did. She turned on the faucet for 1 second and wet her hands and then turned off the faucet without no barrier. With her hands still wet, she attempted to initiate service. At this point, I told her that she needed to wash her hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. She became upset and started arguing with me, telling me to leave the shop. Prior to leaving, I exchanged words with her. Advising that hand washing is very important for preventing infections and/or transmitting infections. I further stated that an establishment who works with the public should engage in activities to lower the risk of spreading infections. She kept telling me to leave the establishment, saying "get out." While walking out, another client had just received service and that client acknowledged that her technician did not wash her hands either. In my opinion, if this shop was located in a predominantly white neighborhood, the clients would be treated with respect and the staff would follow hand washing protocol. It breaks my heart that some of these businesses make money off the black community, but do not respect nor care about the community in which they service; and to make matters worst, individuals in the community go along with these dangerous practices. My brows have never looked worse. I came here about a month ago prior to going on vacation and am still regretting the decision as I try to grow my brows back with castor oil and hair vitamins. If you have thick brows and want to maintain the thickness I would absolutely NOT recommend this location. I am typically quite particular about where I get my brows done and have not gone to one of these lower cost threading salons in quite a few years however decided to try it out as its about a 5 minute walk from my house and with a toddler at home, I've been trying simplify my routine and find more local beauty places. Never again. I told the woman who did my brows that I just wanted her to "clean them up and keep them as thick as possible" and she completely disregarded those instructions, changing the shape and making them extremely thin. I almost cried when she showed me the first one because 1) it looked terrible and I knew there was nothing I could do at that point 2) I had my annual family photos the following week and my brows looked ridiculous.
