He began the job but ran into a problem installing the window stormbusters. He found an alternative to its installation. Even though the installation couldn't be completed that day, he took the time to go to the store to purchase the materials needed to ensure the product functioned as intended. He came back the following day and completed the job. Even though the project took more hours than he estimated, he didn't change the estimated quote. I only had to reimburse him for the materials he purchased. Stormbusters are a product that is clear and allows the outside light into the room. It is placed over the window to protect it from flying objects during a hurricane. The insurance company recognizes them as window-projectile-proof protection and offers a discount on house insurance. I give Jose 5 stars and recommend you contact him for your next handyman project. WARNING! The process started out good. I thought David was a stand up guy. I was wrong! The paint…read moreon my house is blistering only after 6 months. The owner "David" told me to my face that if I have any problems in the next 6-8 months because there were already issues with runs all over the gutters, he will fix any issues. The owner has refused to come out and look at the problems. He told me that he would send a worker out for only one day to fix the issue without coming out himself to see the extent of the issue. He also stated that the finish may not look the same. When I asked why not, he replied that the worker would be rolling or brushing the areas and not spraying them which was how the house was painted in these areas. He did not want the worker spending the time setting up and using the sprayer because it costs more. He stated that he could not send a worker out for more than one day due to labor costs. There is no way that these repairs could be fixed in one day. There is blistering on the front of my home, so he is telling me that I and everybody driving by would be able to see the repair because the paint will not look the same. One month went by with no response. I called David and left a message. He did not return my call. I then text him 3 days later and asked him to call me and not text me so that we could talk about how to fix these repairs and that if I did not hear from him, I was going to have to hire an attorney. I paid over $12,000 to CK painting. He text me back(would not call me) and said he has done everything that he could do and that it is a paint issue and to take it up with Sherwin Williams. He knows that the paint warrantee goes with the buyer of the paint, NOT the home in which he is painting which means the warrantee goes with him and not me. David is not a man of his word. Once the job is done and he is paid, if any issues come up, you are on your own. He is not worried about customer satisfaction.
