LaCo stands for Latin Coastal as it is considered "30A's Latin coastal kitchen" with Latin-inspired lunch and dinner dishes with a coastal twist. The restaurant is located between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach in Seacrest Beach. They operate on "beach time" and do not take reservations. Their published hours are daily from 11 AM to 9 PM with limited yet special priced happy hour menu from 3-5 PM and a full menu during the other times of the day. Both were incredible, but I preferred the flavor of steak. The salad that came with the fish was fresh and flavorful, as was the rice. I also ordered sweet plantains (maduros), which are among the best I've ever had, basically heaven on earth ha! I will be back, often. The kiddos loved it too. Also, it's in a sweet little spot with 5 or so food trucks, clean nice seating outside and inside, a bar, deli, clean bathrooms, and even an ice cream shop.
