PLEASE! PLEASE! DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO NOAH'S BARK AND PURRS!…read more On 17 May, at 8:55 a.m. , I took our little 18 month old Shih Tzu/ Bichon Frise' mix, to Noah's Bark and Purrs to be groomed. He was matted but not horribly. I was told by Stormy that he would have to be shaved down, and i was also asked to sign a waiver, because shaving mats can cause or reveal injuries. Stormy stated that pictures would be taken to show how he was matted, after being shaved. At 1:47 p.m. , I texted to see how our little fur baby was doing, Stormy replied that he was doing well and that they would call shortly. After being notified to pick up our baby, when arrived Stormy came out later and began showing me the pictures. Not one time did she mention his injury, as she was scrolling through the pictures, I saw the pic with our baby and a bloody cut on the left cranial region. She explained that this happens when a dog is matted and gets shaved. Then, she brought out our little fella. He had this glue substance over his cut and it was still bloody around the area. She stated that she didn't realize that she had injured him because he didn't make a sound. She stated that our little baby was okay and that I should take him home and let him rest, because she had spoken with the Vet about his injury and that the Vet instructed her to cover our little fella with the glue substance. We later learned that the Vet was not working, but has been retired for several years. I told her that I would like for our fur baby to be seen by his Vet, to take a look at his injury. Stormy stated that it was not necessary; because he's going to be fine and that I would incur a Vet bill. I don't understand why she said that she didn't hear him make a sound when he ended up receiving 5 stitches- believe our poor baby yelped with an injury as such. First, I was NEVER notified, prior to picking him up, that our poor baby had incurred an injury during grooming. I did not realize he was injured until I saw the pictures. Secondly, Stormy made excuses that this is something that happens, and she never did apologize- only more excuses, and how she has 20 years experience. Thirdly, if it was a serious injury why would she called a Retired Vet for instructions and why wasn't we notified. Upon leaving Noah's Bark and Purrs, I immediately went straight to our baby's Vet, despite Stormy suggesting that I take him home to rest, upon arrival, his Vet, I explained what happened and they took him immediately and begin treating him. He was clipped and clean around the area, and soak the glue to remove it. Not to mentioned, our baby required FIVE STITCHES! We are so furious as to how this occurred from shaving a matted pet, and he was not severely matted! If I taken our fur baby home, he could incurred a serious infection and GOD knows what else. He also had a temperature of 101. I'm positive it was from the injury and stress which Stormy and her 20 years' experience incurred.

This place is so good to my cranky little dachshund. They are definitely dog people here. They were…read morevery understanding and accommodating to all her quirks. She responded well to the kind staff. The place itself is in an older strip mall, and when you walk inside it's quite spacious -- absolutely no stacked crates, and they clean often. They even washed Coco's bed and blanket for her. I will certainly be using them for future travel dates because I know my dog is in good hands here.

She is very understanding and always answers any questions you may have, and if she doesn't have the answer she will find it and get back to you. I am so grateful to the team at [Friendship Veterinary] for their incredible kindness and thoughtfulness. After my beloved bunny, Twinkie passed on 3/21/26 under the care of another clinic, (my bunny had GI stasis and had to visit the ER hospital in niceville since this happened over the weekend) they sent a heartfelt letter of condolences and flowers. Their compassion and understanding during such a difficult time meant the world to me. They treated Twinkie like family, not just a pet, and I will always be grateful for their caring hearts. I would highly recommend Friendship Veterinary to anyone with pets especially exotic animals! Thank you once again.

First, thank you to the entire front desk team for your warmth, kindness, and constant willingness to help with anything we throw your way. Next, an equally big shoutout to the AMAZING Ashley and to Dr. Logan Real. Ashley is one of those techs whose presence instantly puts me at ease, and Dr. Real has officially earned his spot on my "10/10 would recommend" list. Thank you both for taking such good care of Lily today. To the legendary Regina - thank you for looking after our Sadie during her heartworm treatments. She's still new to our family and her anxiety gets triggered so easily. Knowing she has you watching over her helps my heart rest a little easier. Finally, the biggest thank you to my hero, Dr. Lindsay Matheson. She has been seeing our dogs for years and has NEVER disappointed. Last year, she performed a lifesaving emergency surgery for our Sammy and then walked us through her tough fight with cancer. Because of her, we were gifted extra time to say goodbye to the sweetest dog who ever lived. To say that my family holds every single hard-working human at Friendship Veterinary Hospital in the highest respect is the understatement of the century. For nearly ten years, we've brought our fur babies here and have received IMPECCABLE care every single time. These people BRING IT - with passion, expertise, and genuine love for our pets. And they do it all with a smile, even when dealing with frustrated, grieving, or downright rude pet parents. You are all heroes!

Total Dog Training and Devin did an excellent job more than we expected!!…read moreMy mother, Mary, and I were very nervous when we chose to start training for Nefertiti. The day we picked TDT, we were still not sure if we made the right decision or not. But at the end of our training session, we were extremely happy that we pickd TDT and had Devin as our trainer!! Devin came to my mother house for the consultation. It was amazing that he connected with Nefertiti right away. Devin explained to us what we would need for training (supplies) and how the sessions would go. This was extremely helpful for us to see and understand the process we all would experience. We asked him many questions during our sessions, and he answered all our questions very patiently until we understood them clearly. On the first day of training, we were pretty nervous because we didn't know how Nefertiti would react and if my mother could handle the process, but we didn't need to worry at all with Devin. Devin works very quickly and in an organized way. We were amazed how much Nefertiti changed in the first hour of our first session. Whenever we had concerns, Devin made efforts to resolve any issues right away and always gave us very quick response if we had any questions. He is very professional and a hard worker. We can't thank him enough!!
