Co workers recommended this place as they have a nice variety. They have bagels, bagel sandwiches, smoothies, pastries. Ordered a crispy chicken sandwich on everything bagel and it was pretty good. Only downside is they do not accept credit cards! Lots of outdoor seating and indoor as well. Good quick stop if you're looking for something good on the go near the Amazon/Microsoft buildings! There is nothing touristy around here, so don't come out of your way!

At lunchtimes on weekdays, it appears that a lot of the tables are reserved for BMW higher ups in their suits and pantsuits, but if you can snag a table, the food options aren't bad for what is essentially a museum restaurant. A variety of cakes and pastries sit at the far end of the bar as dessert options. Pleasant interior and exterior seating. Solid food. Surprisingly decent prices. Die Pakete waren völlig unsortiert, einfach in verschiedenen Schränken und Ecken hingeworfen. Auf meine Nachfrage hin wurde mir gesagt, das Paket sei entweder nicht angekommen oder schon zurückgeschickt worden. Ich hatte jedoch einen eindeutigen Nachweis per E-Mail, dass das Paket vor Ort ist und innerhalb von 8 Werktagen abgeholt werden kann. Ich war am 7. Tag da. Die ältere Verkäuferin meinte jedoch schroff, Pakete würden nach 7 Tagen zurückgeschickt - offenbar ohne genaue Kenntnis der tatsächlichen GLS-Richtlinien. Als ich darauf hinwies, dass GLS eindeutig 8 Tage kommuniziert, wurde sie sofort aggressiv, patzig und absolut nicht hilfsbereit. Ich wollte die Diskussion beenden und ging - da rief sie mir plötzlich hinterher, das Paket sei doch da. Kein Wort der Entschuldigung, stattdessen ein frecher Kommentar: "Sie haben ja Glück, dass Sie es jetzt noch bekommen!" Krönung des Ganzen: Die jüngere Verkäuferin schrie mich beim Verlassen des Ladens grundlos an und forderte mich in auf zu gehen - obwohl ich lediglich an der Tür stand. So ein respektloses und chaotisches Verhalten ist inakzeptabel - sowohl im Kundenservice als auch bei der Abwicklung von Paketen. Wer Wert auf einen normalen Umgangston und Struktur legt, sollte diesen Standort meiden.

2014 Update: Necado still makes the best espresso drinks in town. -can't seem to leave this place…read morehaving had just one bevvie. I am a glutton for goodness. Necado is a good-looking little place with a good-natured bloke behind the bar. A 'necado', by the way, is a hot cocoa with a shot of espresso in it. Mmmm. My partner and I ordered two capps (that drank like flat whites) and found them to be tasty. The richness of the milk almost overpowered the flavor of the espresso, but didn't dampen my experience of the drink. Necado is almost more of a steh-cafe in that there is only room for a few window seats and a few tall tables sans chairs. The place is modern with clean lines and not a lot of fuss. We dug it. Necado both sells and uses beans from JB, a local roastery, behind the bar. I have had a lot of coffee around the place and, I still find the coffee here better and made so well, each and every time. In Schwabing this would be one of my favourite places to hang out, have a chat and sip consistently excellent coffee. In a suburb full of machine coffee at places, that is consistently average, this is a standout. It's a small local business that is all about coffee and, the line up most days in the morning and afternoon should, give you a good indication of the popularity of this place. When I first discovered this place a year ago it was not as busy as it is now. I always see so many of the same people coming back again and again. As always I will continue to stop by each morning if the keep serving up such good coffee :-))
