Very concerning level of unprofessionalism during the daytime. I was uncomfortable hearing the bartender openly discuss another employee's personal business and workplace drama in front of customers, including serious matters like a restraining order and claims about someone getting fired. The gossip was honestly ridiculous and completely inappropriate for a workplace, especially when customers are sitting there listening. Personal matters between employees should be handled privately--not discussed openly behind the bar in front of paying customers. Management should really address this. read more

I'm calling on the owners to investigate bartender Ramona. I noticed my tab being higher than what I actually ordered when she was running it. When customers keep a tab open, they're trusting the bartender to charge accurately. That trust should not be abused. It appears the totals were inflated beyond the actual drinks ordered, which conveniently results in higher tips when the card is charged. Management should seriously look into Ramona's transactions and receipts. If this issue isn't addressed, I will be reporting the discrepancies to my credit card companies for investigation. The Pepper Tree Lounge is hands down our favorite spot in town. My wife and I keep coming back because of the amazing bartenders Andrea and Razor Ramona. They're the heartbeat of this place -- social, kind, hardworking, and genuinely caring about their regulars and new faces alike. You can tell they actually love what they do, and it shows in every drink they make. Most bars are just beer, shots, and the occasional two-ingredient cocktail, but these two have crafted some of the best cocktails I've had at a neighborhood spot. You can taste the effort and skill -- it's a big reason the Pepper Tree draws such a good crowd. The vibe is welcoming, fun, and always feels like home. We miss Andrea. This place became a mystery spot and not in the fun way. We heard the Peppertree was newly remodeled so we made a point to plan a Wednesday mid week visit to our favorite bartender Drea . Her mustang was not out front. As to our surprise there was a bartender Tee there we had never seen before . An older lady was guiding her around behind the bar, it was awkward and strange. We didn't want to be rude so we had a drink but the vibes were off and it felt uncomfortable. When we asked about Andrea they both were clueless as to where she was and when or if she would be back. The following Friday was daunting. It's usually packed. The bar was empty and sad. Still now a full week later, same bartender Tee. No Drea . Read other Yelp reviews who had the same experience. Then , in one last attempt we came on Walter's shift who's always knowledgeable and he also knew zero information. It's like she vanished. Been coming here for years. I ve been to this bar a few times, but the last time I went about a week ago was fantastic. Either they switched management, or the owner was approved for a loan to improve the location. The whole location was fixed up, and they did wonders to the outside searing area. It's amazing what a fresh coat of paint and hard work can do. I am very happy with the change. The DJ plays hip hop and a wide variety of multiple genres to appease a diverse crowd. He always feels the vibe and goes with it. At tes you can catch him live streaming the ambiance and his Skills. I cant speak much on the spirits because I normally drink bottled beers, but the bartender was very attentive and successfully managed to satisfy the crowd on a busy Friday night. I been going to PT for years and will not return. Advise all of you to start finding another spot to hang. This place is changed! Make sure to watch your open tabs. Bartender was extremely rude. He presented us with the tab with the counts that was inaccurate and he created a scene. No body from our group questioned him on the tab. It was internal conversation. He was ease dropping and decided to intervene. His behavior was absurd and he seems out of it. Extremely RUDE and not a safe spot for giving your credit card. Would not recommend this if you are looking for a good/decent service. P.S- Kel aka this bartender that post is referring to have been sending me nasty messages here like a stalker which proves how safe is this place and him to be dealing with. Came here on a Tuesday night and turns out it was karaoke night. When we got there there was about less than 10 people. Given it was 9pm we were ok with that. We ordered drinks and they were ok. It was very dark and cold in the place. The front and back door of the place was opened during the night and it was 45 degrees outside. So we were pretty cold being inside the lounge. They have patio outside which is pretty cool, they had heaters but none of them was running. They had two pool tables that cost $2 per game. Overall, the place was ok not great and not bad. I would come back here if I'm looking for a chill vibe. read more
