I have been here, but not as a resident. However, the crew that Pepper Tree has is very polite, and I have not seen really anything bad with them yet. They are a company owned community, so there is a lot more breathing room for people that live here. It has a fenced in community with a pool, I also think their may be a gym but I have no idea and haven't seen it. The lady I talked to was not an original worker, but she was still kind and tried to help me with getting an apartment there (however I didn't want to live there due to these reasons listed here). The hallways are extremely narrow and small, definitely not enough room to get your furniture through the halls easily. The so called "storage" you get when you move in is a see through unit located on the floor you live on (in my opinion I don't want people to see my stuff and try to break in). The rooms you pay for are fairly decent with how they look, but the rooms are very small for what you pay, (though I did hear you can pay like $680 for a 1BR 1BA that is approximately 780 sq. ft.). Overall this is not to bad of a place to live. You can hardly hear the neighbors through the walls inside your apartment, however the hallways are extremely loud and you can hear about everything that is going on inside the apartments, so that is my only privacy issue with this place. Everyone here tries to keep to themselves, so no worries about consecutive neighbors banging on the door and messing around with you. THERE ARE A LOT OF KIDS IN THE COMMUNITY, so if you are not a fan of children, do not live here. Cats are the only animals excepted, which is a disappointment since cats do more damage to carpet than dogs (and yes everything is carpet except your kitchen area, and bathroom area). Give Pepper Tree a try, and write your own review, this is just my experience as a guest to their community, and I have talked with several residences there about how happy they are to live in an affordable community. read more
