My son's birthday was coming up and I thought their soft play area would be perfect for his party! Eunice was quick with responding to my plenty of emails and gave me several options due to our limited budget. After much thought we decided to go with Package A. The play area was such a hit with the little kiddos! We limited the age to 3 and under so it wasn't too overwhelming while the older kids played at the playground right by it. The parents loved it as well! It gave them a time to enjoy the party and the food with two free hands! =) Owen's party was at Polliwog Park in Manhattan Beach and Henry set up way before my family got there to set up! As a returning client who previously received an age-appropriate setup for a 2nd birthday, we expected basic competence. Despite marketing themselves across Instagram and Yelp as an "Event Planner" and " KIDS BIRTHDAY EXPERT" (see attached screenshots), the owner provided zero professional guidance regarding equipment scale for 4-year-olds, omitted paid items, and responded with hostile communication. Key issues experienced: Missing Paid Custom Items: Our invoice explicitly shows a $50 charge for "Plushies thmed tshirts." These were never provided or delivered, either forgotten or withheld out of spite following our disagreement. Vague Invoicing & Last-Minute Communication: The invoice simply listed "Bounce house" without specifying dimensions, leaving us to rely on her advertised expertise to supply an age-appropriate rental. Specific small dimensions were only texted after 8:00 PM the night before the event. By then, full payment had been collected and setup details were locked with our HOA/venue, making adjustments impossible. Known Guest Count Ignored: The vendor claimed in texts that she had "no idea" how many children were coming. However, we specifically ordered 25 plushies for 25 kids directly through her, providing the exact child headcount well in advance. Dismissive & Contradictory Communication: When I expressed concern on-site that the bounce house was a fraction of the size of our previous order and far too small for 25 four-year-olds, the owner texted: "We are a rental company not your party planner ‍". She dismissed client concerns with a shrugging emoji while directly contradicting her own advertised titles as an "Event Planner" and "Kids Birthday Expert." Fabricated Text Trail & Hostility: After a brief phone call, the owner sent a calculated follow-up text claiming I called to "cancel services that were rendered". This was a manufactured statement attempting to create a paper trail for services that were already paid for and currently set up on-site. Mind you she was blowing up my phone while guests were arriving to my party with these messages. When instructed in writing not to return mid-event to strip the yard, she attempted to cancel our third-party plush subcontractor. It wasn't until I was able to talk to the plush contractor directly that I got them to come to render services that were already pre-paid for. A reputable event vendor guides clients beforehand and acts with basic integrity. Instead, we experienced non-delivery of paid goods, hostile text messages, and an attempt to disrupt a young child's event. I strongly advise parents to book elsewhere. Margarita was always in contact with me via text messages leading up to the party. The team set up and took everything down in a timely manner. The bounce house, ball pit balls, and soft plays toys were clean and in great condition. I loved the castle bounce house which has more of an open concept to keep a closer eye on the little ones jumping inside. It was also easy for them to enter and exit. They were able to set up on concrete using tarp and soft pads. I look forward to booking again in the future!
