I was pleasantly surprised with everything. When you walk in, you grab your own menu and you seat yourself. They have high top tables, booths, low tables and a conversation area with comfy furniture. You place your order at the counter and pay ahead. They give you a number to place on your table and they bring your food out. The first thing that impressed me is that the food menu is local and organic. They offer organic coffees, so many teas and tea accessories, herbs. Their cafe menu has many vegan and vegetarian options. The service was friendly and helpful. Our drink order came out almost immediately, and our food came out fairly quickly. I really enjoyed my breakfast bowl that I added avocado. It was quite nourishing and flavorful. I don't know how they cooked the sweet potatoes absolutely perfect. I also ordered a protein cookie to eat later. What absolutely blew me away was my lavender Matcha iced drink. It was the best Matcha I've ever had. They also have an area with various hot sauces and so many flavors of infused, honey. They have various types of sugar, agave and Stevia, but you will not find any Splenda or equal here. So if you are sugar-free and don't like Stevia, bring some from home. I really liked the whole vibe of this place, the food and the beverages. I will definitely be back soon. My husband loved the avocado toast, and I had the eggs and greens (small), which was surprisingly filling and delicious. Everything comes beautifully topped with fresh microgreens. Groovy music, a cute little kids' area, and a peaceful atmosphere made it an especially relaxing stop on a rainy day. I'm dumbfounded. I'm even more dumbfounded that no one has ever reviewed this place! Located in downtown Belleville, it's a little further down the street than the other stores, but it is so worth the walk. It is really similar to the spice and coffee store at the Soulard Market...except without the craziness. The staff is super helpful from letting you sniff the coffee beans before committing to a flavor to advising different recipes for different spices. I love it! And the best is that for a small-town shop, the prices are the same as if you were at those previously mentioned places, along with the huge variety! Chauvin is their main supplier of coffee...and there are at least 50 flavors available for your perusal. Most of them are $11.95 a pound, and they can even make 2 oz samplers for you. They will even either leave them as beans or grind them up to your specifications. Similarly, their tea options are just as varied: over 30 flavors and they range from anywhere from 75 cents to $3.00 an oz. They don't have rooibos, as least not what I could see, but they have most everything else. And finally, an incredible wall of herbs and spices, along with their own special spice blends. It's just amazing. Prices are definitely cheaper than your supermarket prices, and they have the same things as other local stores. I've been using the Brazilian Meat rub, and it is phenomenal with a great spicy kick. The Herbes De Provence mix is very fresh and aromatic. I can't wait to break into the fajita seasonings, the Essence, and the special dips I picked up. Their website has a great up-to-date list of what they have in stock, along with prices, if you're wanting to know what they carry before you go in. And why is it an amazing locally owned shop? Well, on Saturdays, they have free coffee tastings and dip tastings. Also, they set you up with a card, and once you hit $50 in receipts, they give you $5 off with your next purchase. We contacted them and on day one notified them that we sold on Amazon. We were informed that not only where they a GMP facility, they also confirmed that they work with "several" Amazon sellers. After they collected over $10,000 from my company we learned that they not only did not work with "several" Amazon sellers, they in fact did NOT have an accredited GMP certificate. After over 3 months of them kicking the can down the road and saying that they were actively working to resolve my issue, they finally came back with their solution. Their solution was for my company to pay an additional $8000 to get Cheryl's Herbs accredited. Yes you read that correctly. They want MY company to pay for them to become accredited so that they can make products under the guidelines required when we bought from them. Just know that their GMP is worthless when it comes to 3rd party verification. We are now left holding the bag after all their empty promises.

They even had jam with no seeds (which some folks need for health reasons). Their strawberry jam was PHENOMENAL!!!! I devoured the entire jar in a little over a week. I bought a couple of the single serve coffees for Hubby, but he hasn't tried them yet so I can't speak to them.
