And, the people are always there to help; in fact last week the branch manager came out to help me. They also offer free checking and savings, with no minimum, and the interest rates on interest-bearing accounts are about equal to or better than other banks. Another plus is that they do a lot of things for the local community. This is the bank I recommend to others in the area looking for a banking relationship.

Interest rates are fair, if not generous, and they require no minimum balance for most of their account types. If you're just a simple human looking for simple banking like I was then RBT is definitely the way to go.

These people SMILE at their customers. I have seen them work through lunch when necessary (GASP! Food on the desk!) and I have seen customer walk in with their dogs (OH HORROR!). I had 3 parcels of land, one with the house and 2 adjacent ones. I told them lot #3 was not to be included as it had a separate deed and put this in writing, Day I went to sign the mortgage, I read the documents and they had included it- I was borrowing 30% of the home value. She told us about The Siren Cafe, down the block, and the People's Pint, and about local farms to get produce and dairy products since we love supporting local agriculture.
