DR.Sylvan ,this doctor and team gone down hill no empathy or communication for disabled people. Sadly 06/21/25 I became a paraplegic with brain injury. It was very difficult for me to contact and get through to this office. Then 08/13/25 we had virtual exam and went over all medications during I informed him I was almost out of 2 real heavy narcotics. I continue to message almost every other day reminding them today 8/21/25 was the last. They did absolutely nothing for me didn't communicate informing me health insurance would not cover no talks of existing count to begin taper and no talks of alternatives. They left a 52 yo crippled guy to get off 75mg Oxycontin with no taper. And sadly I've been on phone all day and finally got through to a nurse who confirmed she sent order in for a one of my medications #30 count of Oxycontin which I choose to pay for for my well-being so I can probably taper down without major complications and when I called my pharmacy they never received anything. This hospital and especially this team should be reported to DPPC for neglect and sadly lieing.This is such an embarrassment to disabled people. read more

Please get someone who knows how to deal with people who are trained to deal with people who are in need of medical assistance. I came I'm on Saturday June 15 at 12:30pm. I've been there a few times, because it's right next to my house. But the worst experience I've had was when I had a strep throat, I knew what it was, because I've had it before. So I went there, after a long wait a doctor looked at me, looked at my throat at said: "take some tylenol." Really?! Without even testing anything! And on top of that they charged me $165 because according to them they had a problem with my insurance. So I basically paid them to tell me to take tylenol. I went to a different doctor the next day and he prescribed my antibiotics. I don't think they really care about helping you to get well, just trying to get you out of there quick. read more

I waited over an hour and was seen by a Dr Neil Martin, who looked at my feet with a glance and said that I just had athletes foot, and just to use powder and sent me on my way. I was in TREMENDOUS PAIN!!!! the next day, I saw my own primary care doctor who looked at my feet and said that's not athletes foot!!! I had a very bad bacteria infection in my feet causing me pain, and bleeding!!!! If it had gotten any worse it could have went into my blood stream!!!!! If I had listened to this horrible, horrible Doctor, I would be so much worse and maybe in a hospital!!!!! Do yourself a favor and see your own doctor!!!!! read more

Being sick is a terrible thing and I was in much pain when I stumbled upon ExpressCare at Pentucket Medical while online looking for someone to see me on a Sunday morning after a brutal night with a throat and ear pain. I was able to make an appointment online and get over their fast. Intake person was polite and patient with me and got me signed up fast. Only waited a few minutes to get into a room where a polite and kind young man, Jeramiah, took my vitals and asked me what I was experiencing and where. Dr. Raslavicus came in and diagnosed me and made me feel better just by her manner. I will be happy to return there if my virus does not go away as they treated me respectfully and my experience with all aspects of my care was quite satisfactory!! read more

I had a very bad fall and was in extreme pain. I did not want to go to local ER for back pain when I friend recommended Pentucket Express. I reserved a spot online, I was able to select an arrival time and received a text to confirm my appointment. Check in was a breeze and I was seen very close to my appointment. Dr. Genta was great, and so was the entire staff. I was able to get x rays, a diagnosis and follow up information in about 2 hours. 2 thumbs up! read more

Don't EVER go here. Went in to have my knee looked at after hurting it and being unable to put a lot of weight on it. Sat in the exam room for almost an hour before being seen for 5 minutes. The NP manipulated my knee and then said was going to work on my chart. 45ish minutes later a mother nurse walked in handed me paperwork and said I was all set to leave and walked out of the room. I went out the room to ask for clarification and was told the exit was down a hallway and bye. Horrible service! They didn't take anything seriously! read more

GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!!!! Came here due to an allergic reaction. Told them not to give me the medication they insisted on me taking because if the side effects but was given no other option and sent home. Called back the next day after spending 24hrs in hell from this medication and no one called me back until hours later after they closed and told me to call back the next day. When I did they hung up on me, sent me to voicemail and when I showed up in person to complain I was told to leave or the police would be called. Apparently they care more about the feelings of their answering service people than the health of they're patients. read more

Worst experience ever with dr Joe. Unbelievably rude didn't want to listen to a word I had to say she was more concerned with running out of the room then listening to me. She spent no more than 1 whole minute in the room and Half that was spent with her hand on the door handle. I told her exactly what I had and what I needed because I know my body she repeatedly told me no I was wrong and refused to prescribe the proper cream I needed to treat my condition. Unfortunately since my last review, I have become extremely disheartened about PMA Express. I went there on a Thursday and was diagnosed with a fractured thumb. I was told they would make a referral and appointment with my orthopedist. Someone called me on Friday to check my availability to make Ortho appointment and I was told she would call me right back. Never did. I finally made my own appointment the following Tuesday. Even though I was disappointed, I would use them again because of the extraordinary care. Went here for my first time with a fairy new doctor, Dr. Lazarev. He was very personable, paid attention to what I said and followed through. I felt very comfortable with him and I usually only see women doctors. The nurses were very nice as were the people at reception. The building looks brand new and very clean. It's easily accessible off the highway. The one thing was that I had to wait a long time to go into my appointment. Once in there though, the nurse and doctor came in right away. read more

I do not like Dr. Niceforo. He is one of the worst doctors that I ever know. When I had a problem with one of my swollen fingers, he never explained how to heal my swollen finger. After plenty of terrible doctors, I'm so relieved to have both wonderful primary care and specialists at Pentucket Medical's Riverwalk location. Every nurse and doctor I have seen at the Lawrence facility has been attentive, informative, and compassionate. They respect my wishes with regard to my medical care, and always do whatever they can to make sure that I am at ease. Every department shares notes through their network, so every doctor I encounter is well informed of my history, allergies, medication, and current medical status. The walk-in center is fantastic for non-emergency visits that can't wait for a primary care appointment. Pentucket Medical's team (primary, walk-in, and allergy) were able to solve a complex issue where my frequent infections and illnesses turned out to be a chemical allergy. Their communication and ability to share information is what led them to finding the root cause of a very complex medical situation. Other doctor's I had been to simply treated the symptoms instead of looking for a cause. I've met many of the various doctors in the walk-in over the years (they all rotate shifts there) and have never had a bad experience with any of them. Everyone from the Lab and XRay techs to the specialists and RNs really seem to be there for you. I hope I never have to find another medical center, because this one is awesome. read more

It's so convenient to have a facility such as Express Care at Pentucket Medical so close for me. They are able to access my records and see my history. It makes it so much easier than going to a walk-in clinic that knows nothing about you. read more

I had a wonderful experience here! Our Au pair was very sick and does not have a PCP since she is here from Germany. She was quite nauseous and dizzy so they immediately brought her into an exam room so she could lay down (no waiting!). They ultimately sent her to the ER due to extreme dehydration and pain, however, they were able to help her the nausea first. Everyone from the triage staff to the nurse and doctor were wonderful. Check in and waiting room time very quick. However I was left alone in the exam room for an hour! I feel I was forgotten about? RN not really friendly and never apologized for the wait, seemed stressed. But the place was not really busy. I heard plenty of chatting and laughter at the nurses desk though. went to Pentucket for a finger injury and got an x-ray pretty much right away. The x-ray was normal but I couldn't bend my finger so the nurse practitioner recommended I see an orthipedic doctor...they made the appointment for the next day, and within 24 hours I was getting surgery to get a tendon repaired. efficient across the board and very nice people read more
