This is a U-Pick or Ready-to-Buy Farm that's simply awesome! We first found it last year when we…read morewere looking for something to do during COVID time. This is our second year coming and I expect we will be coming every year thereafter as well....it's that great! Last year we picked yellow peaches. This year we picked a whole bunch of donut peaches as well as some blackberries! Currently they have yellow peaches, white peaches, donut peaches, nectarines, and blackberries for u-pick. If you are short on time or just don't feel like doing easy labor, ha, they have a farm stand with all these already picked for sale as well. They take cash or check. I see different people manning the farm stand, but they are ALWAYS nice! Check them out, VERY worthwhile!!

Went with friends from church and since I had not visited before, I took a list with all the pot…read moresizes I wanted to fill. That proved immensely helpful because I was overwhelmed the second my feet hit the dirt! A lovely lady, Rebecca, approached and asked how she could help. She was very happy that I brought the pot sizes as well as where I intended to place them (sun/shade). In no time at all I had a wagon full and with what my friends and I purchased, my trunk space was full. Pricing is a bit on the high side but honestly, the stock is beautiful, healthy and the variety is abundant. Add in the personal attention I received and it was money well spent because a multitude of choices were offered for the specific types of plants I needed. If I wasn't really liking something she suggested, we moved on. She was so helpful! On my next visit I will take some time to browse inside the store, they had some lovely gift ideas but time wasn't on my side at that point. Such a fun outing! (As for getting there, I-65 South was fine on the way there even though a significant stretch is under construction. The return was jammed so we came back on Hwy 31. While it took longer, there were no traffic delays.)

They have a cart sanitizing machine, which is very nice with Covid going around. The staff is friendly and helpful. A recent update added self check registers, which are card only. Be sure to sign up for their loyalty program at the register and their truckload sales. I've been shopping here for years and have never had a problem with anyone trying to cheat me or steal my money. My only complaint is they only have one riding cart for the disabled. They definitely need more of those.

Right out of the gate let's make one thing very clear...you've heard of a dive when referencing a bar or restaurant, well this is the convenience store equivalent of that. More stuff than what you'll find at a normal convenience store, but nothing like what you'll find at like a Walmart or places like that. They do have some staples, I'm guessing because they are in the middle of nowhere and then a few miles beyond ... so they make it so the folks that are in the area don't have to drive forever (plus a little more) to get to a n actual grocery store. Now, where they excel is in oddities. The one that stood out to me - Peach Mango Angry Orchard .... until seeing it here, didn't even know it existed. Just one example of the different stuff you'll find here. Oh, did I say they also have a full service food area - kind of like a publix - fried chicken and all the fixin's. If you're in the area stop off and check these guys our, well worth the visit.
