When we first reached the hotel, the Uber driver let us out at a location that wasn't exactly in front of the hotel. As we were walking, we got turned around and called the hotel to let them know that we couldn't figure it out and one of the front desk's associates actually came out to find us and walk us back to the hotel even helping us with our luggage on the walk back to the hotel. The rooms also left a lot to be desired, but we did have a semi decent view of the city. The bathroom was also very small and the shower was a bit complicated. We weren't in the room for long as we quickly changed, headed out to dinner, and by the time we came back, it was time to go to sleep for our flight the next morning. Overall, they have an amazing staff, but the hotel really needs some TLC.

The property used to be a convent and has been converted into a modern hotel in the heart of the Alfama neighborhood in Lisbon. I arrived early from my cruise around 7am, and even though my room wasn't ready yet, the front desk happily stored my luggage so I could go out and explore. When the room was ready, I received a text and was pleasantly surprised to find that my bag had already been placed inside--amazing service. The room itself was small but very modern, and honestly one of the cleanest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. Every corner was spotless--impeccable attention to detail. Breakfast was included and everything was fresh, including their freshly squeezed orange juice which was a great touch. The only small downside is that the hotel sits on a short hill, and Ubers can't access that road directly, so just be aware you'll need to walk a bit. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning. If I'm ever back in Lisbon, I would definitely stay here again! Great hotel and service!
