1 Star -- Serious Issues With Management, Billing, and Harassment…read more This was one of the worst rental experiences I've ever had, primarily due to the conduct of the manager, Raul. I originally rented a Mustang at $389/week. After the tire blew out due to a pothole, the car was towed and I was placed into a Chevy Bolt, which was supposed to be $335/week. Despite that, I was still charged the Mustang rate. Receipts later showed amounts that did not match what was actually charged to my bank, and some receipts appeared to be altered. Even after returning the vehicle, additional holds and late fees were placed on my account days later, including a daily rate that was higher than the actual daily rate for the vehicle. The billing issues alone were unacceptable, but the behavior from management made the situation much worse. The manager repeatedly called and harassed my husband, made insulting comments, and even tried to interfere with our ability to rent from other Avis locations despite everything being paid. After I left the office with a police officer present, the manager still contacted me, made vague comments about "the girls" at the front desk, hung up when questioned, and then sent confusing texts. This felt inappropriate and intimidating. To make matters worse, issues tied to this rental caused me to be temporarily removed from the Uber platform, resulting in lost income. Staff at the location were consistently rude and unprofessional, and we were told that corporate oversight has been sent to this location multiple times due to ongoing problems. Law enforcement has been involved, and everything is documented. I strongly caution anyone considering renting from this location. Billing transparency, professionalism, and basic customer respect were completely lacking.

I ran into an issue with the DMV and only had an interim paper version of my driver's license, which made things a bit complicated. Jenell handled it with a great attitude and walked me through what I needed to do so I could finalize everything and pick up my truck and moving supplies. I was pretty frustrated that morning due to things outside of both my control and U-Haul's, but Jenell completely turned the situation around. She was friendly, respectful, and genuinely focused on helping me find a solution. She's a great representative for the company and definitely deserves recognition for her effort--whether that's a shoutout, bonus, or raise.

Before my reservation date, Geraldo confirmed everything for me. Then on the morning of pickup, Jose checked their inventory and reached out an hour before opening to let me know about an issue and to ask whether I was still interested in the rental. That level of communication alone meant so much. When I arrived, I noticed that every customer was greeted warmly, and I was no exception. Geraldo apologized again in person for the earlier issue and reassured me that Enterprise would still take care of me. And he did: quickly, professionally, and with kindness. The truck itself was a newer model, surprisingly good on gas which was a blessing with gas prices skyrocketing. It had a nice sound system, cushion flooring in the back, electric side windows, and a clean, modern computerized dashboard that made the drive smooth and stress‑free. The vehicle was spotless, ready, and even had the A/C running when it was handed over. From beginning to end, the entire experience was smooth, respectful, and handled with care. In a moment when my family and I were simply trying to get our belongings out of the house after the fire, Geraldo's thoughtfulness made a real difference. I never received anything to formally share my experience, so I wanted to take the time to publicly acknowledge the exceptional service I received. Thank you, Enterprise Truck Rental on Gardena Blvd. And a very special thank you to Geraldo I truly appreciate everything you did for me and my family during such a difficult time.
